This is a particular touching song. It’s about his wife who died of cancer. They were a singing duo and his wife loved Dolly Parton, so he asked her to sing this with him as a tribute to her. Dolly FaceTimed her before she died. It was a very sad moment-cancer got her very young.

You should check out Joey and Rory's song "When I'm Gone". The song was written by a friend of theirs after she lost her mom. Joey sang this after she found out she had terminal cancer. She recorded it for Rory and their baby. She made a video of herself reading to their baby who has downs syndrome so she'd know her mother. It's a very touching song. I suggest having tissues close by when you react to the song. It's very emotional.
Joey and Rory were devout Christians. Joey's best friend was not. She wrote the lyrics after Joey's passing and gave them to Rory. He composed the melody and recorded it with Dolly. The man who appeared in the video is married to the lady who wrote the lyrics.
I don’t think she would like this song blaming Jesus and giving the preacher the finger. It’s everything opposite of what she believed in. Jesus did not cause her cancer and he said he would be with us in our trials and suffering. She never blamed God.
