I remember these cats when I lived in Austin. Used to follow them around. Think he fronted another band as well. Super fun band. Super loud too!! 1986.
first time i had the honor and privledge of seeing O.B.P. live was at creation fest back in 1992!!!! these guys don't miss a beat! paul is still shredding! so good to see this video! i will never forge the giant ice cream sunday they had on the ground in front of the stage in PA! :)
When I was an atheist I remember listening to One Bad Pig's album "A Christian Banned" about 1987 at Hogwild Records in San Antonio. I knew these guys were Christians & I was very into hardcore punk at the time (still am, even at 48!) I remember thinking "dang! this is cool music coming from Christians!." I wanted to buy the album but didn't because I was atheist. However, One Bad Pig definitely played a role in my coming to know Jesus. Since then I've seen them live maybe 5 times and have most of their music. Some of those shows had very intense crowds in Austin, which is why it's painful to watch everyone standing around here. I was in a band in the mid 80s & when we played live it truly sucked to have no slamming or diving at a show.
