How funny is it that Spencer’s bad behavior is ok because he was a great producer and Lauren’s “bad” behavior is cause she wanted to be the star of the show. Y’all are hilarious
i dont follow into this narrative that lauren said “my show! my show!” i think she was just worried about ulterior motives and who sincerely wanted to stick around to be her friend vs who wanted to be around her for fame and not to mention the fact spencers role was the villain/enemy spencer deadass dedicated his entire time on the hills saying LC is my enemy, and for what?? he was the perpetrator of those nasty rumors ugh lol anyways thats a different tangent but for heidi to not to see the issue just reinforces why they cant be friends
To me it says it ALL that when sh*t went down, Brody, Audrina and pretty much the entire cast sided with Lauren and had nothing to do with Heidi or Spencer. Yes, there's the argument they did it because they want to stay on the show, and to do that they had to keep on Lauren's good side, but even when it was Kristin playing the "lead" in later seasons, they all sided with her and ditched the Pratts.
The way they try to bash & talk down on Lauren, but wouldn’t even be doing this podcast or have their fame if it wasn’t for Lauren… Heidi will always make herself look dumb for Spencer and Audrina will always be a follower.
Audrina and Heidi need to go…. All they do is gang up on Lauren and it’s disgusting and show just how immature they still are And Heidi saying one thing about Spencer is he’s not a liar made me laugh so Hard!!!!! lmao
Agreed, all of a sudden they are justifing Spencer's actions! How!? They are older now. They sound ridiculous! Yes let's promote lies, fake TV, using someone for fame, etc. Stupidest thing I heard!
Ok I have to post again now that I’ve watched more….. I love how Audrina talks so much about Lauren not excepting Spencer, is she forgetting she rode Lauren’s coattails and sided with Lauren on the whole Spencer thing
This!! Her lies are falling apart already and they jus go along with it. Apparently Heidi knew about the playmates, and Brody was there but he didn’t? Audrina doesn’t seem to have known about Heidi ‘knowing’ even though she comforted her about it the following day? Why wouldn’t Heidi have explained it all to her in that moment. And why would she have gotten annoyed about the Pinkberry flowers if she knew that Spencer was just pretending to like Audrina for the storyline? So May contradictions
I am so tired of all the Lauren bashing. Frankie is really the only voice of reason, prior to Heidi joining Audrina wasn't really having these opinions. The podcast was so much better without Heidi.
Did anyone else find Brody Jenner's imitation of Frankie Cringe? -- Trust and believe that I am far from a snowflake but I am Mexican myself and found it super cringe.
Love the podcast but it does bother me when Brody makes fun of Frankie’s accent. He does it all the time and Frankie doesn’t even sound like that. It’s kind of mean. Love you all though!
I’m kind of annoyed that you guys don’t do any research whatsoever…it would make the show so much better. For example, Emily crated the beauty brand Glossier which now worths a lot of money (1bl). Also everything Lauren does can’t be negative…I refuse to believe that all of you and more were trapped in her net of bossing around. The fact that Audrina says that maybe if Lauren sit down and talk to Spencer things would’ve been different blows my mind…Ladie don’t you remember Spencer in his 20's? This is moronic
It's funny to me how in previous episodes they make light of the fact that Heidi never really worked for Bolthouse, and say it was all for the show. But here they throw SHADE at Lauren for not being a real intern at Teen Vogue.
audrina saying lauren could’ve had a conversation with spencer have they met this man? he was the most manipulative man i think i’ve ever seen on television
What about you Audrina?? Why do you and Heidi keep bringing up Lauren not handling things right and not being friends anymore with Heidi but I remember Audrina being right by Lauren's side the whole time she was fighting with Heidi, you confronted Heidi at the club with Lauren, you said so much shit about Heidi and you moved in with Lauren. So when are we gonna put Audrina on the spot and ask her why she iced Heidi out if everything with Spencer and the drama wasn't actually real?? Please tell me. Also, thank you Frankie for always stopping the mean girls calling out Lauren and reminding them of their age and how they acted as well.
Did you ever watch Kristen’s show on E!? Heidi and Audrina were on it in like 2019 and Audrina said she went along with things Lauren said or did because she didn’t want to be kicked off the show and Heidi said you either had to do what Lauren wanted or you’d get less air time or she’d tell the producers to take you off the show. Idk how true that is, but that was mentioned on the show
@@ashleystrout1244 I do remember her saying that too. Idk. I just don't like the constant bashing of Lauren, ya know? And I find it odd that anything that looks negative for Heidi or Audrina they say is edited and chopped up but if it looks negative for Lauren then it's real. Just mean girl behavior.
Exactly!! I hate that audrina is acting so buddy buddy with Heidi on her side but all the years on that show she was like laurens little puppy on her team.
@@ashleystrout1244 but didn’t they confirm im this podcast that audrina was made the villain and threatened to leave the show but they didnt want her to leave so they made lauren make peace with her. So that contradicts audrina and shows that shes A flip flopper. Like which is it audrina. Not to mention that heidi and spencer both went COMPLETELY against lauren and lauren wanted soencer off the show yet producers didnt do anything about it so that again contradicts audrina. Also lauren was just a cast member i think yall think they had all this control but nope producers do. They’re not gonna let some drama go unfilmed because laurens mad tf lol.
@@melissajurado399 exactly! And she acts so innocent and confused like she had no idea what was going on but then anytime Heidi says something bad about Lauren, Audrina will add on to it and say anything to egg Heidi on and to bring up Lauren again.
you lauren fans are so annoying. go follow her somewhere. I dont know where she is cause I dont think she cares about her fans to bother being anywhere. Its like you only watch these shows to be triggered by ever lauren comment they make! Its very weird.
@@en6278 rightttt. Like Lauren wasn’t perfect. Why are they so triggered by the others speaking their truths. Audrina has always been my fave and I love that Heidi is just transparent. Don’t think we ever got that from Lauren x
@@laurenledesma5924 I think he and they use that excuse way too often. Maybe he WAS doing it for the show but that demon was still in him. I feel like it was some for the show but mostly just the way he was too.. and now he can save face by using the excuse that it was for clout
@@melissamonaghan5044 lol no.. that was just his excuse for his horrible behavior. He burned every bridge in all his relationships.. somehow everyone still hates him in real life but it’s all acting? Nah
So if it looks negative for lauren it wasnt chopped up but when it looks bad for them they chopped up the actual footage... Just pointing out the obvious... Not mad bc im still watching it lol...
I think bc they know lauren is so private and wont come out to defend herself they put all the blame on her. Heidi needs to take accountability in why there friendship ended, its too funny she said that lauren felt like her show was being taken from her but the show was never about both Heidi and spencer. The show needed drama and they brought it! The hills was for Lauren and heidi was brought in as a tag along “friend”. Even when lauren left and was replaced by kristen, if they thought they were so good why didnt the show go to spencer & heidi
So true. Heidi and Spencer were the worst on the show. I can’t stand to watch them. (I’m rewatching now!) If the show would’ve went to them, I would’ve stopped watching.
The audacity of Audrina i guess it was great at the time for her to be Lauren friend and ride her coattails. Frankie is 100% correct they were all in there young twenties ofcourse now we think different. Heidi and Audrina gotta go.. Frankie is the realeast one..
Heidi keeps comparing her situation to Lauren and Jason. Jason didn’t publicly spread awful rumours about Heidi. It’s not apples to apples. The situations are totally different. When your best friends boyfriend says vile things about you, you have every right to step back. Heidi didn’t stand up for Lauren so of course it’s different.
from my understanding Jason is the one who actually started the rumor, Spencer and Heidi took the fall. I think that is why there is a rift between Spencer and Jason in the newer remake because Jason won't admit it publicly bc it would just make him look bad.
@@amandatabor381 regardless who started it. Spencer said really inappropriate things about Lauren’s body parts and would help spread the rumor in his blog and his going on talks shows etc….
@@amandatabor381 Perez came out with proof a few years ago because he helped spencer and heidi spread it since he was the biggest platform at the time. Perez even apologised to Lauren even if it was on twitter.
@@amandatabor381that’s just a lie that Heidi and Spencer have made up. They have also both admitted to spreading the rumours, and they have also blamed Brody for it. It was them.
I dont like heidi in all the episodes, she always made everything about her, desperade to get any validation and obssesed with Lauren, of course she made her famous. The only word Heidi use is Lauren and made all about heidi the victim. Lauren is soooo moved on, is so sad Heidi is stuck in that moment and insist on put her perspective. I got Lauren, she get to know Heidi thru Spencer and her relation and cut her, fair enough. Is so sad to discover a best friend real face bc a bf... happens all the time, u dont wanna be friends with that person anymore!
just rewatched the hills and my god i cant wait till they get into season 3 and 4 just to see what rubbish will come out of their mouth.. and i dont believe for a second that heidi knew about the playmates, shes just said she knew but it went too far to give a reason why she was angry and crying : season 4 however and onwards i believe everything from heidi and spencer is fake
She’s definitely rewriting history. With major plot holes 😂 if she had known, 100% she would have told Lauren and Audrina the next day we they were comforting her. But it’s all brand new info for Audrina! Just like her apparent affair with Jason 🙄
That was actually Audrina’a job…she said when they were rewatching season 1, her boss there told her she had to choose between the show or the job bc the schedules were conflicting lol
It’s interesting that they claim every scene they were part of was acted an edited… but Lauren definitely hated Emily? As thought there’s NO WAY that scene could have been cut to make it look like Lauren was annoyed
I don't think she hated Emily but she was annoyed they brought her in to make her look bad, she was probably a bit jealous of her skills and who wouldn't be
@@sannucca3343 I don’t think Lauren hated Emily either. I might have worded it badly. I’m saying Heidi and co claim all their negative scenes are edited. But then they stick with the narrative shown by MTV that Lauren ‘hated’ Emily (or disliked her presence)
I like this podcast when Heidi isn’t bringing up Lauren to bash her. I get sometimes she’s explaining the story but she has said Lauren’s name more than Spencer’s at this point.
I love that Franki was Lauren’s advocate. They want to keep focusing on Lauren’s actions negatively when she was just being a good friend and over protective but they were young so move on from her behavior. Heidi should’ve told Lauren what was going on and she would have reacted different..
"Was It Real?" - yes, some situations *were* real. it's also reality tv, it needs a storyline. some peeps in these comments are just not grasping that lol
A lot of y'all could have "done things differently" but y'all were 20-ish years old navigating a pivotal part of your life in front of the globe. Like Audrina BFFR! If you knew how things would have transpired, would you have given Justin a million AND one chances? Probably not, (at least I'd hope not) but that's who you were and how you felt at the time. I'm nobody's stan, but I do think it's unfair to highly criticize Lauren for literally everything as if the rest of y'all had it all figured out. Hindsight is almost always 20/20. Everyone deserves grace.
Its alllll laurens fault!! Can yall say anything yall have done in that relationship?? Seems very one sided and mean girl kinda..😒 I understand yall are doing a job by re capping the episodes..but why all the lauren digs...idk.
When Brody says for you millennials Mapquest is … umm Brody you are a millennial!! 😂 why do people still think millennials are the young kids.. they are in their 30s
He’s 39. Technically he’s an Xennial (small micro generation wedged between Millennials and Gen X), but it’s close enough. Millennials are generally ages 26-38 right now.
Everyone always talks over one another. It honestly makes the podcast unbearable to listen to. Just a room of 4 people trying to speak over each other and go on tangent rants about things not related to the topic.
1:34 Audrina: did Lauren know? Then the doof Brody interrupted so she never answered. But Heidi did say she couldn’t say anything because she knew about the playmates which leads me to really believe Lauren didn’t know. Don’t know why the conversation continued praising Heidi for taking a “pause” buuuuut pause from acting?!
Her comparison to her behavior towards Jason is ridiculous. Jason wasn’t a tool and disrespectful like Spencer is. I’m surprised they don’t talk about how manipulative Spencer’s comes off. He literally isolates them from everyone.
I really wonder how Lauren feels about all of this when they talk so negatively about her? It’s really BS. I like this podcast, but I also hate it at the same time.
“Don’t ever get involved with someone who can manipulate you like that”… 💯 Another gem from Lauren :) Lauren was spot on with how she handled situations back then. I am sure she has no regrets in dealings with anyone on the show- then or now. Hello Super-Intern/Glossier Founder Emily Weiss! How y’all whack asses not going to talk about her company 😂 id like to say that I am happy that Glossier is revamping. They have had many controversies but with Emily stepping down as CEO, I believe that things will be good going forward 🤗 Uh-Oh… Lauren and Lisa Love thinking alike on the flowers 🌸🌺🌸🌺 Guess that is why they are both bosses/CEOs 😉 It is kind that Lauren is in awe of Emily’s busy schedule at the time, when Lauren was more busy with a top TV show, designing gowns for Awards shows, partnering with Avon/Mark on dating abuse, and Lauren was on the cover of the Teen Vogue magazine where she and Emily were working. Both are successful today and it is great to see :) Oh My… MapQuest. We really used to print out directions and drive around like pirates 😂😂 I love the Brody and Frankie banter 😂 Keep it coming. It’s a refreshing take from the nonsense… for the most part. Brody is going to have the best time being a Dad 🥰 Audrina… I hope you are doing well 🙏🏽 And Audrina consistently calling Spencer a dirt bag is hilarious.. and accurate 😂😂 Lauren bringing flowers to Whitney when she had dry sockets was so sweet ☺️ I love watching Lauren and Whitney working and doing events together… best part of the show/series. Cute dinner outing with Lauren, Jen, and Heidi. Reminds Me of convos with “friends” back in the day. Every time I see Jen on camera it takes Me back to Laguna Beach and seeing her and Lauren hanging out… what a sad turn. But they did get things somewhat back on track after Lauren forgave her. Playmate Shannon… didn’t Heidi and Spencer hook up with her a few years later?
This is a peculiar podcast indeed 😅 but I agree with you, Brody and Frankie joking and teasing makes it a chill podcast😅. As a fan of the hills I really enjoy others people insight on the show or appreciating cute moments like Whitney’s and Lauren’s had. Hoping keep having your awesome reviews 🤩
@@ac0865 I still do that sometimes. Lol. My fat fingers always press the wrong things on the phone, or I can't read the text. Sometimes wish we stopped at the flip phone.
Listening to this I’m just like wow these people are really talking about someone else’s experience because the show was about her. Like yea talk about your experience on the show but for real to continuously talk about Lauren and her experience and then there’s it baffles me bc regardless without Lauren like don’t talk about her and her experience. Just talk about you and yours regardless
Heidi said in the previous episode that "Lauren didn't know all the in-between" so OF COURSE she is going to be defensive and protective. Everyone knew he was there for good tv and she keeps being faulted for standing up for Heidi. The problem is when they keep saying lauren could have handled it differently....SO COULD HEIDI. They are great for tv. They obviously had plans to amp things up, but they are also making the fall out all her fault. Which is just annoying.
It worked out in the end, but Lauren was right. Spencer was using the show (and the girls) for clout; everyone has now admitted as much. Lauren was right to be cautious, and so were the viewers.
Loving the podcast!! It’s so refreshing to hear all you speak on your side of things and share “your” truth. The hills wouldn’t had be The Hills without any of you. Thank you so much for doing this! Love you all! 🙌🏾
Interesting that the fight with Kristen, Audrina, and Stephanie at the birthday was more real than other stuff. I always assumed that was scripted. This whole show was a giant mind f**k.
No matter what Spencer was, even if he and Heidi HOOKED UP THAT NIGHT I look back at the episodes , Spencer is literally hilarious! My gosh. Rewatch it, he is hilarious.
Brody: It was great for the show but Lauren could’ve approached the situation differently Also Brody: Spencer is Epic and everything he did was for the show
Saying Lauren could have handled things differently is ridiculous regarding situation which wasn’t created by her and created by Heidi and Spencer who still put all the blame on Lauren. Your boyfriend then & now husband fed a lie to producers & Perez who then blasted that on airways which completed lie defaming her character & you want to say Lauren can handle it differently when you can’t even take accountability like bye. Lauren was protecting her space which she had every right to do. Then downplaying what was done by Heidi & Spencer is crazy to me.
At the end of the day. Like Loren or not , if it wasn’t for Loren , Heidi and Spencer would not have met nor been anything. I’m sure they know that. Shame Loren and Heidi couldn’t just rekindle friendship in person.
could you guys go through more of like when wild lines happen and pickup scenes? im so curious to really get the bts on the filming and editing like scene by scene. i would love that! and longer episodes to really delve into the nitty gritty
Frankie is so hard to watch, he can't talk, never finished his sentences, stumbles over his words, makes zero sense in what he is asking and drags it out sooo bad. Just not very eloquent. He also is super slow on the uptake, like doesnt quite understand things and gets a lot wrong. Not podcast material
Idk how everyone thinks this is LC bashing. They are just explaining their opinions and thoughts. It was the Lauren show but Lauren’s life alone was boring as heck. Rather have kristin instead.
@@Domino_20 it started going downhill when fans realized the story lines were becoming more scripted. They started viewing it as a soap opera. They actually asked kristin first if she wanted to be the main character and she turned it down. I mean LC is always everyone’s 2nd choice 💁♀️
Get the big dawg Spence on! It’s amazing how people in the comments want to claim Heidi is lying when pretty much everyone from the show has backed what heidi is saying and even Lauren has ever refuted what she is saying here. Just more gullible people manipulated by mtv to think what happened in a staged tv show is what happened in real life
Dear Lauren Conrad’s Devout Fan Club: Why do you all keep flooding the comment sections of these podcasts with so much negativity? I’m looking for the parts where they “bash” Lauren. What are y’all talking about? Thanks. Truly asking.
I’m not a devout fan. Lauren was overprotective with her friends and shouldn’t been more understanding to what they wanted even if she didn’t agree with it. I don’t agree with the bashing because it shows their lack of growth as a person since the show.
@@srr3754 I disagree. Honestly, I think our understanding of terms like ‘bashing’ and ‘jabs’ is different and that’s where the disconnect lies. I could teach a whole lesson on this. Lol I’ll spare you, though. 😅 To further answer your question, I think Heidi is simply sharing her truth, and her side of the story. That’s it. So far I’ve only seen Heidi discuss her feelings and perspective, as well as other things that went on behind the scenes of the show. Heidi’s commentary has been very relevant to the topic being discussed. If they mention Lauren it’s usually because Lauren was a part of the scene they’re discussing. Lol Like what else are they supposed to comment about if the scene is literally between Heidi and Lauren? 😭 I find it interesting how bias the crowd is over here. I’m not “Team Heidi” or “Team Lauren”, I’m “Team Truth” so I get annoyed when I see the scale moving too far to one side. Y’all literally seem to hate Heidi. Heidi and Lauren both made mistakes, but you all only seem to be interested in hearing about the mistakes Heidi’s made. If anyone dares mention something wrong that Lauren did y’all bring out pitchforks against him/her and are ready to crucify. 😭😩 That’s gross. Anyway, it was cool chatting with you. Take care!🌷
@@JesusIsTheTruthPodcast you can explain it..I could be wrong. Heidi’s very negative towards Lauren and it’s understandable to a sense but the constant comments are too much. She has something to say about every little thing… she just seems very immature to me after all these years.
I'm curious why so many viewers feel like the hosts are explaining their experience filming the show is hatred towards Lauren. We have to remember the show was from Lauren's perspective. Until now are we hearing how the rest of the cast felt and their experience making this hit tv show. Much respect for the die hard Lauren Stans! It's been 16+ years since the show and they are still ride or dies!! lol
Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her
its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldnt just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring her back
