One BIG PROBLEM! Yeezy 380 Covellite Review & On Foot 

That midsole contrast makes the whole shoe pop! I'll keep getting compliments from the ladies, while the doubters allow us true sneakerheads to cop!

The brown makes it so unique and that what I like about the shoes..

I personally think the brown goes great with those colors. They add an earth tone aesthetic to the shoes as a whole and make them really fun to rock with winter clothes. That being said I think a black sole would have been just as dope!

Dope video man! At first I thought these were kinda hideous but when they just dropped I ordered a pair to see if my mind changes. When I got them in hand I was kinda suprised about how much I liked them. They just kinda go with everything. They're weird and unusual but somewhat intriguing... to me at least. Had to return them though, because my feet are kinda messed up and finding the right size is awkward but I digress. I'll probably pick up a new pair once they drop under retail hehe Regarding the brown color: Covellite is a mineral which consists of multiple hues of blue and purple but also the occasional hit of brownish, yellowish colors since it's composed of copper and sulfur which are by nature brown and yellow respectively. So much for the design inspiration and a piece of trivia :)

i think these are so underrated and that the brown midsole actually compliments the blues of the shoe. I can see why they put it there and i'm loving it. i currently own every colorway of the 380, def my fave yeezy and the fact that you can get them for retail basically still is crazy to me but a blessing :)

the thing about these 380 colourways is that they are very outfit specific. they all fire if you can match them imo

My first 380. When they came in I was even more amazed. They can sit these are the ones you'll regret you didn't cook. They dropped the ash blue with the icy sole, and why doesn't brown match with blue and we wear denim everyday and it goes well with everything..

These are the first pair of Yeezys I got for my 8 yr old son. I decided on this pair because he wears a lot of khaki and blue... and because they were so quick and easy to buy! I think the colorway is beautiful, but, like you said, there isn't much to wear them with. When I buy Yeezys for myself, I get monochrome colorways so they don't either sit on a shelf or I have to end up buying new outfits to be able to wear them. They are absolutely perfect for my son, though. I have been drawn to the 380 for him because of the rounded heel design. He is a toe-walker and went through a year of physical therapy and having to wear leg braces to no avail. I have seen his walking improve in less than a week in these shoes. They really promote heel-to-toe walking far more than any shoe I've been able to find. Ultimately, I think this is a fantastic, gorgeous shoe that I wish I could justify buying for myself! They fit right in with my son's wardrobe, though! He absolutely loves the infinity laces and says they're the most comfortable shoe he has ever worn.

The brown midsole comes from the brown substrate that the bluish/purple covellite mineral has.

Regardless of what others said 380 are so slept on but it still break necks when spotted in public. I have the Mist RF, Yecoraite RF & Covellite 380. 350v2 in Sulfur, Marsh, Fade 500 in Utility Black & Salt 700v2 Hospital Blue the mid-sole color is designed by the actual mineral base color for Covellite its tanned-brown & Yecoraite is orange-brown.

We live in a generation that if something is not HYPED people won’t buy it!!! It’s sad

Mist, Calcite and Onyx are the best colorways, I like the lack of hype in Yeezy because we can finally get them if we want to and some models are really nice, but gotta admit that there are many awful ones at the moment

I actually like the brown/gold-ish midsole because it provides contrast to the sneakers. It also reminds me of the raw rubber midsole of clark's desert boots.

When I first saw these shoes, I thought the color would be really hard to styling in usual. Plus, the brown midsole seemed kind of unattractive. But the more I look at them, the more I think they’re actually quite charming.

I like the brown bottom, I think this is supposed to look like a mineral rock sitting on top of earth. The contrast on the video with the on feet shots with the grassy background really make that stand out!

I think the midsole is what makes the shoe. It has such a nice glow effect. If it was a neutral black/grey upper I’d cop for sure

My big thing is the 380 is such a polarizing silhouette that the colorway absolutely NEEDS to be on point. And imo, most of the colorways are a miss. Personally, I think the best CWs would have to be the Onyx, Mist, and now the Covellites in that order. The brown midsole could have been a better color, but I don't think it's terrible. The dark tones compliment each other even though they could have done better.

I always go up a full size with yeezys when they don’t entirely fit TTS. This shoe will fit like a tight sock so if you have big / wide feet a full size up isn’t out of the question. I am size 15 but have to go 16 with 350 and these 380. Also I love the brown sole in these they sole is obviously polarizing either you love it or hate it but man I love it! Super cool to see the boost foam thru the rubber

Idk the yellow sole is growing on me. It’s that nice yellowish brown color that Jordan 11 soles then to lol. Gives it some good contrast

Brown and blue go together

It has such potential but the brown mid sole and black laces have killed it. Such a shame as the upper looks fire!

These Yeezy are great. You may go for true size. The only issue I noticed is, it is hard to put them. Idk if that’s a good description. They have more boost than the 350
