Disney is who fired Kurt. Also, Disney also said that there will not be anymore spinoffs involving the SOA universe,. And they also refuse to sell the rights back to Kurt Sutter. So the first nine will not be happening nor with John Tellers book. Kurt was almost complete with it at the time he was fired and now can not finish or release it.

@perryberman2824 Yes, thats when they announced it was being cancelled after season 5. And why was it cancelled? The Mayans was due to have 7 seasons like Sons of Anarchy but cancelled due to a decline in ratings and bad writing.

Felt the same, everything went out with a whimper, after everything that has been happening these last 2 seasons. Best scenes we're probably EZ and Angel on the bridge having the heart to heart, and the last scene with Angel and Maverick on the beach, and his tats covered up.

You still watched it so they won in the end

Bro honestly Kurt stutter at least kept it consistent why bring back up something that was not even in our minds I refuse to believe that Kurt would of let this happen Kurt clearly wanted the big show down to be EZ and Miguel and him ending up with Emily. Why did they not give EZ a chance to defend himself I mean my god if she showed her cards to bishop and revealed she was a fed how would he not see that as cage rattling and why kill adalita the whole thing feels like a mess the only conclusion I feel like we truly got was EZ getting patched if they ended it just right there it would of at least made sense the civil war felt pointless the taking power from Alvarez and him just being like l I’m out I guess makes 0 sense hell even gillies story makes no conclusion the only character who got a decent treatment was coco and maybe. I can not stress this enough MAYBE was honestly creeper there stories actually felt compelling I hated every single minute with angel and EZ on screen boring characters that never ever have there big moments like let’s compare Jax to EZ for a moment. Jax grows he goes through so much development and pain from his son being born to Tara’s death and after Tara’s death. You can feel the connection and love he has for Tara but the conflict he has for his club. Unlike easy who literally his whole character is I want more and power. Not a single moment with any of the 3 girls ez was with that’s including the flashbacks with Emily even remotely feel real the whole thing felt off and just all over the place I get wanting to get to the point but the first thing he does when he gets patched is try to grab power by proxy name one thing that made the character of EZ feel real I can name many with Jax the best examples being is when he goes to see piney for the last time. When he thinks Tara lost the baby. When he tells the club the truth about Gemma… or hell even the private moments he has with clay. This show needed more table talks to show the brother hood choice to pick one every now and again and randomly give them there one spot for the season makes no sense in sons they did not need to do that cause they balanced out the character development and kept a interesting story going the whole time. Even the antagonist of sons made more since stahl potter in sons did it so much better playing puppet master. Mayans mc needed a better goal hell even if the ending was EZ cutting to the end of his life on his death bed and then finding out it was all a retelling of his life from his photographic memory would of been better but to just kill everyone is so god damn lazy people always say sons was dumb for going on a killing spree slot but at least by the end we knew where the club stands Jax’s conclusion of being more as Jesus dying for the clubs sins. The music was better the sliming was better they showed everything Mayans just did to much off screen explain it later it would of been cool to see bishop talking to everyone with his evidence on ez. Or even to see the effects of the war it seems so pointless to tell not show. Sons showed the brutality of there war it showed the conclusion it even it explains the plan after. Imagine if in sons they just said they where going to bell fast to get able and the next episode is them home with him. ITS CALLED SHOW DONT TELL

Felipe was a cartel enforcer and criminal genius but all three of his sons were absolute morons when it came to being street smart

SOA earlier seasons were less graphic compared to the later seasons due to the censors loosening some restrictions for night time tv. Mayans MC started during the time where they let you say "fuck" with no impunity.
