Thank you for the inspiration. It is so helpful to see the different ideas stitched out. Also helpful to see how different densities of quilting affect the overall look.

Really basic question: How did you “mount” those single blocks on the long arm? I can see the basting of the block to the a larger piece of batting and backing. Is that the trick? You have to have a very large piece of backing fabric even if the “top” is tiny?

We loaded them just as a regular quilt with the backing and batting. The backing doesn't have to be huge since you have leaders that you attach it to.

Thank you, Ladies! Question from a rookie: no concern for the wear & tear of usage in places where you break your threads? No lock stitch required?

We do a tie on/off stitch each time we start or stop stitching!!

Thanks for the video and the ideas for quilting. It's really a bummer that no one moved the camera position so we could see you quilt the block. Too much of the video we can only see the back of your hand.
