2 bold predictions: 1. Brandon Miller overtakes LaMelo due to injury and becomes the Hornets franchise guy 2. This is the last of Ben Simmons we will see play basketball
Not a bold prediction on number one, luckily the hornets picked the best guy in college. Is rookie year was almost as good as Victor's but it was closed and any other year everybody would have agreed he was a clear number one. Thank God we didn't get scoot Henderson. But I'll give you one thing he's weigh underrated. Lamelo has to go can't stay healthy, best ability is availability.
@@pepejr10king pretty sure most hornet fans don’t care about how big his name is if he isn’t contributing to winning games. Personally I could care less if we had Steph curry if he wasn’t even playing and just taking up roster money we could use to build an actual competent team
I think this year is the first year embiid start to majorly regress with all the injuries finally catching up to him,and everything that happened with this summer. It’s just a gut feeling
A few of my own “Bold predictions” -Denver finishes 6th or worse in the West. -Atlanta will be a top 6 team in the East, Trae will be Trae again with some good role players around him. -Philly will be much better than people realize. Especially if they can swing a mid season trade to bring in a starting caliber forward or 2-guard. -The Spurs will still suck. They’d be lucky to be a 10th seed. - Everyone will talk about the knicks all year only for them to be bounced by round 2. -Threecone will be saying “this is the thunders year” for another year, and next year too. 😂 -Lakers will make a big trade to bring in another All-Star caliber player to play beside AD and Lebron -the top four teams in the CF’s will be, OKC and Minnesota / Boston and Philly.
Denver literally have a 3 time MVP in his prime. They gonna be tied for the 2nd seed with OKC, AT WORST! Saying they're gonna be the 6th seed or worse is like saying the Trail Blazers are gonna be the 6th seed or better😂
Meh... I think he will average 3 less points (so 31), but 2 more assists (means over 11.5). Lobs gallore for Lively/Gafford and tons of assists on open 3's by Thompson/Kyrie/Grimes/Marshall/Dinwiddie, even Washington. Add the occasional fastbreak assist and assists after cuts and I think he will blow out his current assist high of 9.8.
@@pedrojpeguero considering the type of 3s Luka takes and the volume being above 40% would be insane, not to mention Luka was already one of the most efficient high volume midrange shooters last season and probably the second best finisher in the league 73% at the rim I believe, I don’t even think he needs to lower his volume for the sake of being slightly more efficient. That would be prime steph levels of efficiency while being an even higher volume option on more versatile shot diet. That would straight up make Luka the best offensive player of all time if he made those improvements I don’t know if that’s even possible
@@chugcanthoop Thats true.. I just see how he averaged 33 on 48% and 38% while taking ridiculously hard shots, with Klay on the floor some of those hard shots become easy passes or wide open catch and shoot 3s. Also with more attention to Klay running off screens Luka is gonna have better spacing IMO
Agreed. They had the highest wr vrs the top 10 teams last year. They just lost so many to bottom 10 teams. I believe they will clean that up having the team still together and really scare people. Aslong as Hali stays healthy. Pascal only played 41 games and half of them were with a limited Hali.
saying someone might get nods/talked about as an all star or that if healthy a lottery draft pick could be all rookie second are not bold predictions lol, don't be afraid to say something that ends up wrong or gets backlash, that's the point
Only made it about halfway through the vid and there hasn’t been a single BOLD prediction. Reed Shepperd is gonna be a great 3 point shooter. Wow, bold. Luka and Jokic are gonna have slightly more assists this season. Wow, bold. The Warriors are gonna make a trade to help Steph. Wow, bold. Ausar Thompson is a great defender. Wow, bold. The Nets are gonna be terrible. Wow, bold. Desmond Bane is gonna score slightly more points than he did last year. Wow, bold. These predictions are not just bold. I’d say they’re also brave.
The Celtics are 1000% gonna be the 1st seed in the East again, but they're gonna lose to the Heat in the 1st round, better get ready for Herro averaging 25ppg :D
my bold prediction for Miami is i think we might see either Duncan or Tyler Herro traded for a center at the deadline to put Bam at the power forward position
I predict Benedict get's even more playing time this year. He has shown to be one of their best players in crunch time both def and off. I believe he will show a big improvement deffensively and forces his way into rhe starting lineuo for this Pacers team.
14mil/year makes Lue one of the highest paid coaches? Such low amount of money when you compare how important coach is to the guy who just signed massive extention and will likely play 50-52 games
My Lakers will be must watch TV, the drama and how bad we will be is gonna be hard to ignore. Denver will be the 1 Seed in the West, Cavs or Celtics 1 Seed in the East. Curry, Luka, Giannis, Jokic, D Mitchell Top 5 MVPs. Reffing will not let the FT merchants go off this year, Embid, Shai, Brunson, My Lakers.
@@kjjr3270warriors weren’t awful last season, just not better than the stacked western teams ahead of them but not by much. If someone out if that young core develops to where the warriors get enough wins steph can fs
Neither Denver nor the Cavs will be the 1st seed. Mitchell will not be a top 5 MVP candidate. The narrative that Shai is a free throw merchant is BS. He doesn't even get the volume of free throws to warrant that accusation.
That celtics prediction after all the fuel the Celtics have gotten after this off-season is insane. I'm not saying JT is going to win MVP but after that Olympics run where he barely played he'll want it for sure, and with how Jaylen Brown's been improving and how motivated he'll be after not even getting an INVITE to the olympics...? Yeah. They'll be the one seed.
@@BeerAndJointsAllDayIn your dreams. Also, are you sure that Jimmy will play well enough or stay healthy enough to keep Miami out of the play-in? Even when he "coasts," he still gets hurt.
@@urbaindelva7869 Average Celtics fan 🤡🖕 Jimmy Buckets averaged 24.5/7.5/6 vs the Celtics last year playoffs, he is coming for yall green leprechauns!
My bold prediction isn't technically for this season. However, I dont think giannis and Dame is a complementary duo. Giannis has hard work, bulldog mindset and Dame is a killler on the court, but he's also laid back.
we've seen this combo work before so long as results are there => MJ/Pippen with Rodman (2 hard workers with the most laid back genius defender in history) or Kobe/Shaq (If shaq worked on his game, he could have been the goat, just imagine how unstoppable he would have been if he took it on him to work his free throws to be at 75%, and no need to talk about Kobe's work ethic right?)
@Justfranktbh only reason I disagree is because Middleton goes down before playoffs, however if Bobby Portis makes up brook Lopez effort and stats, they will be fine.
Cavs should get serious and trade away all those, do nothing in the playoffs, role players. Strus , Levert, Niang, Okorro all could be dealt for an upgrade at The 2-3. Or they could just finish 5-8 again and maybe make it to round 2.
@@urbaindelva7869 yeah thats the point, the Wolves gonna be the 1st seed so they're gonna play either the Rockets, the Clippers, maybe even the LeLakers
I got Philly vs Minnesota as a Clipper fan I hope Pg gets a chip and Joel Embiid gets the monkey off of his back and Tyrese Maxey even more solidifies himself as a star. But the reason I say that is I think they might can beat Boston if they play right if not the a repeat of the last time they beat them but a little closer. Philly has the star talent and maybe the starting lineup although they might need some trade and maybe scoring or bench and more size idk there roster a lot.
@@BeerAndJointsAllDayright like they’ll beat Boston ☘️ lmao 🤣 played them suckas 4 times in the playoffs and 4-0 against Philly like be real im more concerned with Milwaukee and the Knicks and maybe Indiana before Philly they gotta show me they can beat us when it REALLY matters lmaooooo 😅😂😂😂😂
@@kjjr3270 bro has been gettin more work than ever before this offseason bc of no army shit, national team games or something else. bros gonna have all-nba season bro. fkin nobody can yo start following the sport before commenting to it?
Actually shocking that people still doubt the Celtics. They gonna run through the east again and if the west can't bring an actual contender to the finals, they beating them in 5 as well.
@@kjjr3270It's because Boston beat unhealthy teams (all of which were missing one or more of their most important players) en route to the Finals, then dominated an underwhelming Finals opponent. That plus Tatum's awful shooting throughout the playoffs and his DNPs during the Olympics and Brown being denied an INVITE to said Olympics. From my POV, Porzingis's health, Horford's age, and their decent but questionable bench are also concerns.
@@urbaindelva7869 whats the excuse for the finals 🤔? Luka being hurt (which apparently only happens when he is losing)? Or Kyrie doing his vodoo shi? Don't forget Boston didn't have a healthy KP as well.
With Porzingis out JT could EASILY average 30+ ppg again. Now if he does that on really good efficiency and Boston gets the 1st seed as well, he could actually walk away with it.
@@three_cone As good as they’ve been the past couple seasons, I think their success was a little surprising. They really haven’t had to deal with any real adversity. I think the rest of the league might play them differently now that they are this good.
@@arrogen2831 should be a top 4 team. They need figure out how to rest Embiid and still be effective. Could see them get to the ECF but they need to be healthy if they want to get to the Finals.
