With all the sandbox changes in the Final Shape, it's easy to overlook some things. One huge buff many players are sleeping on is the overhaul to the perk Eddy Current. It went from one of the worst perks in the game to one of the best, suddenly making some weapons go from trash tier to S Tier or at least A Tier. These include things like the Undercurrent, Oversoul Edict, Combined Action, and the Nation of Beasts. Even the brand new Corrasion which is coming soon!

Symmetry also got Eddy Current, which fixes one of the main issues with it (it's so slow to reload). It's a forgotten exotic worth another look now.

Got a harsh language with envious and destabilizing I might try out 😂. But wave frames did get a slight nerf in terms of how far the wave travels. Still works fine tho

Special ammo waveframes did get nerfed. The wave travel diztance got reduced. They're still good, but they were better.

If you have the Arc quest from Ikora on another character you can get it again. I deleted the curated roll I got from doing it on my Titan and just did the arc quest on my warlock and got it again

Wave Frames are fine. I ran my adept Forbearance for part of the campaign & didn't even notice any nerf & forgot about it until you mentioned it lol.

I also have this on my Nation of beasts but I honestly think and increase reload rather than another aoe dmg is going to be better to spread voltshot faster imo

2:49 Electrostatic Mind also creates Ionic Traces on just ability kills so you don’t even need the fragment for it to make you amplified (still worth running tho)

I should get my final red boarder for oversoul eddict tonight/this week on my crota run, and while this buff seems great with it, wouldnt demo still be a strong option as well? Voltshot and demo combined with cursed thrall origin trait means hyperfast grenades back

Now this is a secondary arc verb now, and with this I think combined action would be an even better hand cannon than nation of beasts, prosperity or the new one, we'll maybe not but I like the impact and design of combined action to use it with the cowboy set

I actually remembered i saved an undercurrent with eddy current, voltshot, and reload masterwork. Busted it out and it does feel really good. Very curious what enhanced eddy current actually does for it, since all i can find is that biff duration is increase, and there is an even stronger effect when amplified

I got the new undercurrent and man…it is insane. I got eddy current voltshot WITH BLINDING NADES!! The blinding affect follows with the wave if anyone was curious on how it worked.

I didn't add that in the video because the reload speed doesnt make that much of a difference on that because you just need to reload 1 pellet for voltshot

From what Ive seen Voltshot doesnt proc the origin trait. Incandescent does but sadly Voltshot didn’t seem to drop pools if the jolt rapid kills.

PSA!! u get a a curated voltshot eddy/current cobined action if you do the Ikora arc new light quest. Do the quest that rewards an exotic piece of armor for arc obviously. Have fun

It does seem to have a bug I think. When I visually hover the menu of the weapon it has eddy current twice and volt shot as a third perk. It total having 3 enhanced perks. When playing it does actually x2 Eddy current.

Forgot to mention oversoul edict has cursed thrall on top. Easy to proc with arcane needle, which in turn spreads unravelling

The only thing I could justify keeping such a specialized perk on is an adept oversoul edict now that master raids have the possibility of dropping adepts with additional perks in a column enhanced by triumph for getting all the patterns.

Even though it's a random world drop the new shotgun (DED GRAMARYE IV) can roll eddy current with volt shot or chain reaction. If you get one try it out it's actually pretty nasty

Ded Gramarye IV should be on that list but honestly it needs its own video. It's truly a sleeper. This perk combo, threat detector if you don't want to run amplified, chain reaction procing off of Wild Card Bomblets. A discord chain reaction roll sounds so angry.

I have a prosecutor (450 RPM) from the Prophecy Dungeon with....WAIT for it...VOLTSHOT...and...DRAGONFLY! Oh yeah! Here are the other stats on it: 65 range...52 stability...61 Handling...60 Reload Speed.

Wave frames are not bad now. I used on a couple days ago and it was great. It still clears adds like normal. You can deal they been nerfed but they didn’t kill them.

I tried this perk with symmetry and Getaway Artist, and it's a damn lazor... I'm not kidding, I have 100 handling, 100 reload and it does not move, you consume your grenade, get amplified with Arc or Prismatic subclass and it is insane!! I will try Nation of Beasts because it also has Eddy Current and VOLTSHOT!!!

Just to clarify if wave frames are bad after the nerf, they are not if you have your wave frame over 50 blast radius it is pretty much the exact same size before the nerf

Oversoul Edict is hands down the best of the weapons because it literally has methods of killing leagues beyond the others. Having both Voltshot AND Thrall Explosion, which is better than Radiolaria pools, is complete overkill.
