My wife wanted to bring me to the hospital because I was having withdrawals sitting in the chair with my hand controls moving all that brush and digging pits crying for letsdig18 lol 😆
I know burn piles are always a problem for you but I, and a lot of others, really appreciate the fact that you always let safety be the first concern when burning.
Chris, you are definitely a one man crew. Accomplished so many tasks all alone, it is mesmerizing to watch you work. I just smile the whole time I watch your videos sir. Great job.
Man and his machines clearing and burning trees and brush - transformation of one landscape and product into another. Project coming along fine - drone shot great.
Your an inspiration to us all Chris. Enjoy watching you doing what you do best my friend. I'm disabled and by watching your videos makes my day so much better. Tx again.
Chris I've been watching you for about a year. You've cost me alot of money. I bought a Cat D4 used. A new takeuchie TB 290 with several attachments. I've been doing land clearing on the side. Like you I'm doing something 7 days a week. I have a truck repair business during the week with 12 employees. The land clearing relaxes me. Nature, quiet except for machines running. Thanks for the inspiration and your teachings.
Looking real nice leaving a tree here and there. Wish we had so much space here. With pushing all that brush, you do yourself a favour by welding a big bar on top of the lugs from the rake rack. Logs can slide of to the side instead of keep on hanging on the inside. You had to do some turning and reversing to get them of. It also helps when pushing brush from coming over the blade into your radiator. Nice winter project.
Sure do like the 6, I do. Just the perfect dozer for what you doing, bet its fun to operate, I know I wouldn’t be disappointed if I had it. Thanks for the ride along sir.
Continue with the Burn Piles ! And Yes - there is an Art of Managing Burn Piles ! No Problems at all taking more of the Brush and Trees down ! Great Progress again - we love watching You work - its Brilliant ! You can see the Progress with the Drone! Many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Thank you for your daily content, as I am recovering from a lone Hspitle stay from covid,i really enjoy your shows, they keeps me occupied as i recover, Thanks, Michael
Thanks for posting Chris, I love watching your excavator work because there weren't any excavators back in the day. The closest thing on the island was a john Deere articulating tree farmer pulling an arch.
We had a hold over fire from a pile that was burnt below an old logging road. When the road was made they pushed the brush over then evidently built the road on top….anyway the fire occurred 8mos after the pile was burnt and went through an entire winter (6-10’ snow) and a wet spring….the smoke was spotted in august when the material burning under the road reached the remains of the original pile….so this stuff can burn a long long time with dirt covering it.
I’m glad to see you’re making more use of the dozer for clearing. You should think of adding a riser to the blade to keep trees from coming over the top and hitting the lift cylinders
The drone footage shows just how much you've done. Looks wonderful now, can't wait to see the final result. Glad you got a bit of assistance with the 220 while you dozed. I've never heard your name for your 220, I hope it's Fred since he was an excavator operator! Thanks for sharing, Chris.
Awesome freaking work Chris, that d6 has no quit in pushing, it will get with the program, that was a great investment, that site is just about cleared, looks good, north Carolina has some of the prettiest red damn clay there is, thanks for sharing bud and I look forward to seeing the next video 💪🇺🇲🇺🇲💪🌲
Love seeing your bucket so shiny. You've been getting after it! My little KX57 is equally shiny. I have done some projects too. I need to post some videos.
Evening, Chris, all. I may have missed this along the way, Chris, what's the clearing for, farming or residential? Missed ya the last couple of days. Peace, take care.
Made my husband laugh today while watching you push trees into a pile. He tried to say something to me, I said I'm sorry I can't hear you I'm driving my loud bull dozer. LOL
Chris first of all it's nice seeing you on Facebook I sent you a message on Facebook messenger and also I'm shocked that one of the viewers hasn't come over to a work site and litter the site w balloons for a prank lol hopefully you can get it done and onto another site
It’s a good thing the d6 doesn’t have an enclosed cab. But if it did I guess it wouldn’t be in the thick brush either. It’s hilarious watching it plow threw the woods.
We always enjoy watching Chris make a fire. Wilma dozer is still pushing good - oil leak must not have been really serious. @ 30:34 - good to see you have some help running the V220 for you while you push. Starting to see leaf color change from the first cool temps you have had. Keep up the good job - you are almost finished with this one!
I wonder what the soil composition will be in 25 years for the burn pit. I bet it will be near black gold. 🤔 Thank you and have a safe and wonderful day.
I got thinking about you the other day, I think I was out walking and noticed there on the side of the road a balloon. Sure you haven't been near east central Alabama lately? LOL! Man that's some nice clean red clay you was digging up. Maybe in a couple of years the owners of the property will have you come back and build them a pond.
Would be handy if you had an attachment that protruded above the blade so that brush wouldn't get caught behind it. I run into the same issue while pushing brush piles with my skid steer root rake combo
Yeah, You can really see it coming together now Chris... You did get rid of quite a bit of those trees with the burning ,you did get done !! Looking really good Man !! I guess down that line is what you have left to clear ?? Should be able to get that knocked on out, pretty quick !! Just being able to get back to burning huh !! Same here in Western Ky. Man, We haven't had any rain in a few weeks here, don't think they are calling for much of any in near future either.... Guess same on your end too !! Well, you'll get it !! May have to come back down the road a little bit when ya do get a good soaker or 2 !! lolol.... Great as always Man !! Have a Great Evening, And a Great New Week !! And, On too the Next.....
Chris I wish you could at least have some one out there with you while clearing. It's just so dangerous, I've been pinned In the seat before and couldn't reach the throttle and had to stall it with the brakes. Be careful
What, you don't want a conflagration? We call it a marshmallow roast or making smores. Made fires s a Scoutmaster and training staff member {Assist District Commissioner, Gulf Coast Council, BSA] for well over 23 years. One of many hats I wore, including PD, FD, NCID, and MI. On top of that Chaplin.
Look forward to seeing all the new videos you post very calming and really interesting what you do, did you find a balloon this time? Doing ponds is my favorite videos to watch! Keep up the good work!
I find it amazing people go out and buy a wooded lot at a [premium price then pays someone to come and strip it. LOL. I know I seen a lot of that in my 40 plus years in the construction business.
953.. probably not, it’s better to push it along the dirt so it mixes in and keep the dust down more. Packing ashes in a bucket would make a huge mess and be awful to breath.
