Filmed by James Terry. "One by One" was written by Lebo M. and is performed as the opener to the 2nd in The Lion King musical. It's about African pride and resilience.
Rythm of the Pridelands brought me here...man this song just brings a smile to my face every time. The tonality, the harmony, the joy...nothing like it. The instrument of the voice is so powerful.

For the people wondering because the lyrics are different, these are the old lyrics. The lyrics posted here are the original ones that are on the Broadway cast recording, but I have noticed they've changed the lyrics since as clear here and in a radio performance they did a while back. I haven't been able to find these anywhere written down yet.
Absolutely AMAZING!!! Moved me tears. The energy, spirit and joy of all singing is so powerful. One of my favourite songs and arrangements in the Lion King! AWESOME 💜
These are not the words that are written down in the original CDs of the broadway musical, or Rhythm Of The Pride Lands. Does anyone know what the new lyrics are and what they mean?
