A BNSF Local is dropping off its cars on its second to last location, but an error from the Brakeman means trouble for a coal train up ahead. recorded on ROBLOX play the game here! www.roblox.com...
It’s the locals fault due to the fact that locals are always supposed to switch the switch for the main line. You have tons and tons of stuff in the cars behind the locomotives which also weigh a few tones each. The train can’t simply stop on a dime due to the fact that newtons law states that an object in motion tends to stay in motion. If this were to be a light power move, this may have been avoidable, but you have all these hoppers loaded to the brim with coal. These push the cars in front of them due to the fact that they don’t want to stop, pushing the train making it take longer to stop, which can cause collisions if switches are set for the sidings. That is how it is the local crew’s fault that the crash happened. Hope you understand.
Heres the story:2006 a bnsf local was heading its way to cactus texas to drop off there daily cut of cars into a siding. The brakemen gets out and switches the switch then lets the train go by then he goes back in the cab.But the switch was still set to the siding....Aboit 3 hours later a bnsf train 5942 was heading ITs way to another part of cactus texas but heres where the train crash comes in bnsf 5942 starts going into the siding the crew slams there emergency brakes and hopes for there life.... bnsf 5942 hit a couple of covered hoppers and a few others went off the rails (tank cars centerbeam cars etc.) crew was very injured and was rushed to the ER.all engines involved including 5942 was repaired and put back into service.
