Wow, dude, you're about as old as I am. I'm 73 on Jan. 4, 2024. I got several railroad striped hats and overalls with southern railroad patches. All ya need now is a red kerchief around the neck. Cheers from eastern TN
Great lot John I've got the Durango too but I think I need to do some work on mine Imay have the caboose also ,maybe I'll get them out oneday get some track up and we'll see how it goes. your Durango cattle car is hard to come by. Thanks for sharing my friend. "Happy Rails". GMan
It would be really cool to build up a full Kansas, Durango & Colorado cattle train one day. In the meantime, you could make a great consist using the locomotive and U.P. or other cattle cars you may have plus cattle cars and a caboose from other lines out west and/or cattle related. The Ralston Purina car and other rolling stock made for a nice episode as well.!
Thanks. The joy of buying used HO for me is the saving of trains made years ago and fixing them up for a younger generation to enjoy. I wish I had a Durango drovers caboose but apparently it was not a Tyco product.
