One Day 1x12 REACTION; the plot is thickening! 

I love they are both honest with each other in this episode. Emma sees how serious Dexter is and that’s why she comes back, but I like you am glad she gave him a warning. Once again the acting was spot on.

Leo made me so emotional this episode, what an Actor! I sense you couldn't fully feel the joy of them finally united, because their timings have always been wrong earlier, so, it feels like you just expect something to go wrong (because it always has prior to this moment). I think this is that wonderful moment where they left all their doubts, insecurities and shit behind and became ONE. Finally they value each other and love each other without any 'buts". I just love them, they deserved it.

From the beginning, he treated her differently than any other girl he’s been with. She was the one he chased after asking for her number, she was the only girl he’s ever invited to his parents house for Christmas, the only one he’s written post cards and letters to, the person he talks to the most, and who he can truly be vulnerable with. It depicts how close their friendship was in the book more by stating how they would often have long midnight hour-long phone-calls and how they’d hang out in her flat listening to music and talking all night. He would constantly root for her when she was losing confidence and she would be there for him when he needed her. They were the best of friends for years. I think both of them probably didn’t want to ruin the friendship that served them both for so long. When he was no longer capable of being a friend to her due to his substance abuse, she rightfully walked away. In the beginning of their friendship, she may have waited for him, but after that she was in a relationship with Ian for six years and they even bought a condo together. I think during the time apart, they both grew up and realized how much they missed, valued, and loved each other (hence the kiss in the maze), but Dex was doing the responsible thing by marrying Sylvie. This episode was my favorite because they both were so vulnerable with each other. In the past, he’s never strung her along by making empty promises of love to her, so she sees how emotional and serious he is and changes her mind. Both actors were amazing in this scene.
