One Day in July | When the Wimbledon and Cricket World Cup Finals gripped the globe 

I was at Silverstone watching a great F1 grand prix that day, watched Wimledon final on my phone on the journey back and got home just in time for the super over. Pretty sporty day all round!

As a New Zealander and federer fan i was devastated for a solid 2 weeks after this, i think I've still got some ptsd.

Although I supported England and Djokovic I felt sad for Nz and Federer and can't still forget that day's thrill

I never slept on that day where my Favourite's NZL and Roger lost. But Roger's loss hurt me more. But the fact is both Novak and Ben Stokes are real Warriors and the Legend's of their respective Sport

That day was the best day for mutual fans...... Both r nail biting matches Definitely a day to remember 🔥🔥

What a day it was. Entire hostel in the TV hall here in Pakistan witnessing the craziest final ever, still can't get over the fact how the black caps weren't crowned the Champions.

I was a new zealand and djokovic fan.Mixed emotions for me that day.But,ultimately sport has won.The greatest day of all time in sports I have ever witnessed.Thank God it came before covid,fans were atleast able to witness those great moments.

I was lucky enough to be at Wimbledon on this magical day, watching the men's singles final on Murray Mound whilst listening to Aggers commentating on the Cricket World Cup final through my earphones. The last two hours were almost unbearable in their intensity.

Despite knowing the climax of the video, I have my eyes filled with tears because of the same magic I felt that day when NZ and Federer lost despite showing the best of the resilience they could have ever shown... I was one of those sad sacks who was supporting India and Rafael Nadal, both of whom got knocked out in the semifinals in relatively close matches. I vowed not to watch any match, but curiosity got the better of me, and watched the final hour or so of both matches. Glad I did.

And as if that wasn't enough the British Grand F1 prix was also on and was incredible too. It truly was the best sporting weekend in history that I can recall.

Watching this after 3 years again and I feel just as overwhelmed.

I will never forget this day. it was the day I was boarding a flight from Kolkata to Melbourne as I moved to Australia on the same day. No to forget, this was also the day when Silverstone hosted the F1 Weekend also. Bein a Cricket, F1 and a Federer fan, this was probably an overwhelming day with all this and my travel. I have a video of these moments, as the airport decided to telecast both the matches side by side on the TVs near the gates. The match was at their critical endings and it was already time to board, but I am not kidding when I say that all the people refused to board the flight and ever the crew and pilots were waiting to see the finishes. A day to remember

I wasn’t a tennis fan back then but I saw this video in 2020 and didn’t knew the two players. I was supporting New Zealand and they lost. In 2022 I became a proper tennis fan when Federer announced hi retirement and eventually I became his dieheart fan. This vide popped up again on my RU-vid in early 2023 I saw Federer and I was like WTH! I have been watching this video without knowing the GOATS. Now I have Very good tennis knowledge and this video hurts so bad. More bad when I see Federer losing that 2019 match

I was among those fans who were supporting NZ and Federer on that day. Both of them were in winning positions minutes before the finish, and both of them lost by the narrowest margins. TBH there wasn't even a margin for NZ, the match ended in a toe in super over too. NZ lost because of a stupid rule which got changed after that match.
