Not only are there left over unexploded bombs, but also countless claymore mines rigged with trip wires and bouncing Betty’s waiting to be detonated. So, yea don’t go off trail on hikes in Laos.
So great to see you two really digging into the culture in Laos. In the countryside you can see huge craters. Also the buddhism there seems to be much more serious. Seems like you are really starting to get into traveler-adventure mode. Can't wait to see where it leads you.
Now I need to revisit Luang Prabang just so I can try that peach tea… Jill/Rapunzel made it look delicious! Seriously though, great video! Luang Prabang is one of my favourite places in SE Asia.
