You're Wife is SO Beautiful; and I Noticed that You guys have Beautiful White teeth; which Seems to be an American thing; to have Beautiful White Teeth; I am from America, but been Spending time in Malaysia; in Asia. My teeth aren't doing very well here.
Ahhh how was Madrid? We can't wait to visit there!! Hope you enjoyed it! Valencia is such a great city! Highly recommend! Thanks so much for watching & being on this adventure with us!🎉
@@AdventuresofMattandNat Madrid was AMAZING! My aunts friend moved there from New York with her husband. We did the museums, churches and the beautiful botanical gardens. And of course ate a ton of amazing foods! You guys make extremely fun videos. Ill be in New Orleans next month and found your channel when I was looking up what to do there, so thank you!
@@jorelc23 ahh soo cool! We will have to check it out!! It's definitely on our list! lol Oh Neat!! We JUST got back from there! We got to experience a little taste of Mardi Gras in new Orleans! Hope you have soo much fun! It's such a cool city!
You guys should have a warning before your videos to those who are hungry to eat beforehand! Everything looked amazing, both the food and sights :) Thanks for doing what you do!
Bahahaha sorry about that! 🤣🙈 that’s a good idea tho! Lol 😂😜 I do agree tho… it was hard editing when I was hungry! 😂😜 haha thanks so much for watching y’all! We appreciate you guys!! 💗💗
I lived in Valencia for a few years. In El Carme Amazing city! Incredible music, food, and people. Not a lot of people think of Valencia or it’s outlying areas on their trips to Spain. It’s kind of a hidden gem. And yea, you guys got caught in the whole “city shuts down at 1pm” conundrum. I would recommend going back in March to experience Las Fallas, the fireworks festival
Valencia has been nominated the best liveable city in the world couple of times. You guys are such a cute couple. Thank you so much for such a good description of Valencia. A Spaniard in Orange County, California.
@@louaceveu1925 That's Amazing! Happy for him. Maybe I should Go back to Valencia; because when I was there in 2019; it was not a good experience for me; plus didn't think it was So Clean; at least Not in the places where I was.
Hey!!! Happy Tuesday!!! Aww thank you so much for taking the time to watch & for your kind comment! Makes our day! We appreciate you more than you know! 💗🥰
It is a pity that you are not going to enjoy the Fallas in Valencia on March 15 to 19. In case you do not know what it is, you can see it on RU-vid, the mascleta, fireworks castles, apart from the churros and the horchata, the most typical in fallas are the pumpkin fritters that are eaten with chocolate like churros. very good video greetings from valencia
Hello Adventurers in Valencia, they used to call it Little California because of its similarity to the beaches, there are Las Arenas, La Malvarrosa and other beaches in Valencia. The day you can come to Fallas, you are going to hallucinate in Colors. Literally watch the videos and you can have an idea if If you were here, greetings from a Valencian🖖
Oh my gosh… it was such a surprise how much we LOVED Valencia! We literally can’t wait to go back! Highly highly recommend! Praying you get there! 💗 Thank you tons for watching & for your kind comment! Makes our day! 🥰
Do you know in Valencia they celebrate 'Fallas de Valencia'? Read about them, I'm sure you'll love that celebration. For me it is one of the best parties in Spain!! You could have gone up to Torres de Serranos and Torres de Quart to have the best views of the city! I hope you enjoyed the city as much as me, I loved Valencia when I visited in 2020 😍. Regards from Chile 🇨🇱🙋🏼♂️
nice! i love your videos. Matt has excellent voice, so rare to hear a Georgian voice. (im from North Carolina) thank you for sharing your videos and uploading. hope to see more of Europe!!
Aw, thanks so much man! There’s no hiding that I’m from the south, that’s for sure! I’m actually from South Carolina but have lived in Tennessee for the last 7 years, so maybe it’s a mix the 2 that gives me a Georgian sound! Lol… Nonetheless, thanks for watching and commenting! 😊 -Matt
Loved seeing the video of Valencia! An amazing city. Brought back memories visiting my daughter when she lived there for a year in the gold building just behind w the Torres de Serrano through Florida State University.
That was one of my Mother's rules too that I still live by today; Always take advantage of a RR when traveling. She also taught me ¿Dónde está el baño? before traveling in a Spanish county . Priorities. LOL Enjoyed the video. 😊
Hahaha was it really?! I mean it is wise! Lol 😂👌🏼 we didn’t really explain but we didn’t use the RR while at dinner! 🙄🙈🤷🏼♀️ so we were hunting after that! Haha big mistake there! Haha hey! That’s one of our first things we try to learn as well! Haha thanks so much for watching & for your comment! Made our day! 💗💗
Bahahaha sorry about that! 🤣😜🙈 haha it was hard not eating all the time while editing this! Lol 😜 aww you are the sweetest! We did! It was nice getting to see family & the FOOD!! Oh my gosh! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 lol thanks for the help! My whole family appreciated the suggestions! God Bless y’all!! 💗💗
Aww missed you both :) seeing you enjoy life , makes me happy . It’s what life is all about :) Some of the food you eat I’m like yummy yummy. I get jealous :) Stay safe bath
Funny coincidence, I also live in Nashville (Brentwood to be precise). My wife and I just came back from spending 2 weeks in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Grananda and Sevilla). Valencia is by far our favorite to the point we are thinking of potentially moving there in a couple of years. We also ate at Mercat, wondered around on bikes. The one spot you missed is the beach. Just past the park with the Science Center is the beach. It is the best, you have to visit it the next time.
That’s good to know I went Valencia recently and thinking whether I should go Barcelona or visit Valencia again. What did you think of these 2 cities in comparison?
Please, don't come. Expats aren't welcome in Valencia, they have made rents rise so much that now equal those of Paris and locals can't afford housing anymore. Lately there have been attacks against tourists and AirBnBs, and even against bike rental shops run by expats. Being an expat is just exploiting countries with lower salaries. It is not ethical.
Love watching your adventures! It would be really cool to see how many of the places to see before you die you guys have covered numbered on screen. I haven’t flipped through the book so not sure if they are mostly cities or more specifically sites within a location but I think it’d be cool to keep the tally known. Great channel, can’t wait to see where you guys go next.
In Central America especially in Guatemala Horchata is made with white rice. My husband and I are going to Spain soon, and Valencia is in our list. Thanks for sharing this great video. Everything looks amazing, beautiful city!
you must have cycled through Turia park to get to the Science Centre( isn't that amazing btw) and did you have "agua de Valencia"?, not water but a fantastic delicious very potent cocktail
Yea, Central American Horchata is made by grinding jicaro/morro seeds with rice while Spanish Horchata is made with tiger nuts which is not a nut at all but rather a root that is also known as chufa.
Yea, they're working on expanding their languages, but only 14 are available right now. Aw, thank you so much! We recently got back from spending a few days in Paris and can't wait to share that video! Thanks for watching!😊
14:20 that's that good ice! lmao thats what i missed the most when traveling to europe. i swear no one has ice over there. that and air conditioning. American luxuries i take for granted lol
We love your videos! Could I ask Nat what you do for work with the airlines? My aunt is a flight attendant and has flight benefits and I am thinking of trying to get on as a ticketing agent. I know it’s competitive. Thank you!
Hey Bethany! How exciting! We hope you love Nashville! When do you move?? We’ve been talking about doing a Nashville meetup but weren’t sure if anybody would come!🙈🤣 We think it could be a fun time though, so maybe we need to plan something!
@@AdventuresofMattandNat I will move October-November, but I spend a week a month in Nashville already! I would love that even if it wasn’t a big event, but just a dinner meet n greet!
@@bethanylawrence161 Oh my gosh! SO fun!! Nashville is great!! Ok, I'll get to planning on something! We'll probably announce it on our Instagram stories! Yay! SO exciting! Hope to get to meet & hang soon! ❤ - Nat
I’m thinking I really prefer Valencia Spain over Naples Italy. It looked less chaotic and confining. The drinks after a hot bike ride looked refreshing, as did the paella. One quick question though. Did that aged-Matador, who was signing in public, expect to be paid? Is that why he acted like a butthead? All in all you made Spain look very tempting for a visit.
Yeah... I can see that! They are completely different but the vibe in Valencia was more our speed. lol BAHAHA THAT GUY.... We literally had just walked up on the street & instead of giving us a performance & then tipping like normal... He was sooo rude! haha it's like did you want us to THROW our money at you while you sang way down the street!? haha Anyways, we did end up tipping him because he came & found us afterwards! 🙄🙄 We couldn't stop laughing at how rude he was though! 🤣🤣 Highly recommend it tho! It was one of our favorites!
@@AdventuresofMattandNat You have to understand Spain is technically the 2nd most visited country in the World (actually, it is the 1st, since the French grossly manipulate their stats). My point being, you´re ultimately bound to find this type of tourist-oriented fauna sooner than later, since they know locals are not going to give him a cent, much less so with such a rude attitude, which is why they target tourists like there´s no tomorrow. His unusually rude demeanor, though, it´s actually unusual to me, as a Spaniard. Have a great stay!
@@1650millionOh we get that! lol Both of us are musicians & have a lot of friends busk for money. We've never seen it done by coming up to people after 5 seconds of them looking & doing the money sign before we'd even seen a "performance" if you can call it that. lol We gave him money obviously... but it definitely was the rudest & most unforgettable bad busking we've ever experienced! hahaha
Evidentemente hay personas que tienen algún problema mental o de adicción que deambulan por la calle, y no toman su medicación o la mezclan con bebidas ...ese comportamiento es obvio de personas así. No hay que tomarlo como personal...tienen ese problema. 😔
16:35 Agua de València it's made with orange juice and champagne, so it has less alcohol than the screwdriver. But anyway, it is not to be drunk as a refreshment! And the juice looks industrial, not natural, as it should be! Sorry for you
I am very confused. You went to Valencia the city that invented paella and did not ate Paella Valenciana 😢. Paella Velenciana does not have seafood it had chicken and or rabbit.
hi...good video but i dont understand why people uses andalucian or flamenco music in videos about Valencia....this music has nothing to do with valencian culture. Flamenco is typical at the south of Spain...ONLY.
Lol, that spanish singer...He thinks he owns the rights to singinging outside. How goofy. Tell the dude to go inside and sing where no one has to tolerate his so called singing or pride.
Yea… We’re always torn on how we should pronounce city or even country names when abroad! Lol… Do we pronounce them in the local/native language or in our native language (American English) since that’s what we’re speaking?🤷🏻♂️ Lol… Either way… Thanks for watching!😊
Artisanal gelato is as traditional in Valencia as in Italy, and throughout Spain, venues that sold quality icecream, horchata and nougat were typically run by Valencians. Eastern Spain and half of Italy were the same country for centuries, the Crown of Aragon, so they have more things in common than with the rest of Spain. For instance, the Borgias hailed from Valencia, and that old government building in that square, facing the cathedral, was their palace before they went to Italy. That 'bullfighter' weirdo you met has been denounced by neighbours countless times for being a nuisance. Some time ago he appeared in the news when he joined a demostration by some far-right politicians who were opposing Valencian language and more self-rule. It was quite a freakish show, so the politicians hurried to remove the footage from social media (thing is, stuff like bullfighting, Flamenco outside of Andalusia, or promoting Spanish over Valencian in education are seen as going hand in hand with fascism here). Glad you enjoyed your trip!
