Went out to see if we could get us some watercress and fish on the same day before heavy rain comes. Chances were not looking too good to get either but after a slack whitebait season we were looking forward to a positive outcome to at least one of the day's goals. ‪@Okuma_Fishing_Global‬

The entire process.. Picking the watercress, the fishing. From watching that line go in, to the pull, and the gutting/cleaning of the Ika.. You are right, so satisfying..I love it!

in my opinion I think if you do a steady retrieve instead of pump and reeling, you'll have a higher chance of keeping the fish on

just the hint my friend : change all these triple hooks for single assist hooks! Triple hooks are often relesed from fish mouth. I did at all of my lures and my score is 100x better.-)

Unfortunately my bumbag full of spinners were left on the bench which has a few of those in it. You can still lose kahawai with single hooks as well. I have some spinners a friend sells where the line runs through the spinner to a single hook, spinner moves freely. Now they catch really well and the kahawai can't use the spinner as leverage to get off. There is a guy that fishes this spot with a treble all the time and he slays the most fish 🙂🤷🏽‍♂️
