I love Italy !!! 🇮🇹 My mom does love Italy ,too ! We've visited Italy separately a long time ago !! We're hoping to visit Italy together in the very near future !!! Mom's fave is Portofino, mine are Roma / Firenze. 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️🇮🇹💞
just stumbled upon your channel while browsing, looking for Christmas markets to visit this year and I must say, guys, your great personalities and positivity you emanate had me stay. subscribed
Loveeeee this video all the locations were so beautiful! And FYI Mat and Nat ARE celebrities so there were celebrities in Portifino.Nat your face eating the focaccia 😂 and that dress! ❤️
Wow, so beautiful. This has to be one of my favorite non us videos you have made. The scenery is so awesome. Hopefully, we can go sometime. Two thumbs up.
Awww George that makes our day to hear!! Thank you so much! 🥰 It truly is a spectacular place! I’m sure hoping y’all can! Totally worth it!! Thanks so much George!! We appreciate y’all more than you know! 🥰
Love your videos but I really loved your unstructured, spontaneous gelato find… your facial expressions of new found joy was priceless. I highly suggest more exploration and non researched surprise.
I really like your channell! You two are so beautitul/handsome and very appealing and thorough in showing out your experiences. I especiallyi like your music, handled so perfectly! I am sorry that your experience on MSC in Italy was such a dud. I sailed on the MSC Sea (it was very new, the second sailing, I think) and I loved every single thing thing about it! However, that was a sail out of Miami so maybe there really is a difference between the European sails versus the American ones. I will say, though, that every single review of MSC I have seen recently on various evaluations hated them...but they all were all European sails.
Gongratulations for your videos i have just discovered you magnificent people. I kindly ask you to contact me to visit us at our summer house in porto heli in peloponnese greece as our guests.
what a gorgeous part of the world! We were in Italy last year and saw San Remo and Genoa, but we're keen to explore the Italian Riviera more! you'll definitely need to keep a swimming costume in your day bag just in case the opportunity to go for a swim arises in the future 😀
Awwwww thank you sooo very much! 😭🥰 That was so much fun to explore & film! So thank you for watching & for your kind comments! Makes our day!!! We appreciate you more than you know!
What a gorgeous place!! Loved the whole tour and the area is beautiful! I want to go!!!! That church was stunning, I agree with Natalie and my husband would agree with Matt.....gawdy : (
Right?!? It stole our hearts!! Such a beautiful place! Hahaha I’m glad you liked the church too!! It was soo over the top but I loved it!! Thanks for watching & for being on this adventure with us! 🥰🎉
Love this so much! My grandparents are from Genoa and I was able to go visit my roots a few years ago. It was amazing! And I guess the pronunciation is kinda to each their own. I know it is spelled Genova but my family says Genoa LOL. The absolute best part of our trip was finding food in the trattorias that very much resembled our family recipes that you don’t find in regular Italian restaurants here in the states! Thank you for bringing me back there for a short time! 🧡😁
Oh wow!! Thanks so much for sharing!! How cool that your grandparents are from Genoa! Oh that’s interesting to know as well, I wonder why our tour guide kept saying that?! 🤷🏼♀️ I’m gonna have to Google that now. Lol awww love that you found good family recipes in the trattorias! I do wish we had more Italian food options here in the US as well! Haha awww so happy to do that! Thanks for sharing & bringing us along with you! 🥰🥰
@@AdventuresofMattandNat In Italian we pronounce Genova with a 'v' like it is spelled. Genoa without the 'v' is the English version of name of the city and also the name of one of the football clubs of Genova.
We are headed to the area early June….Would you recommend Camogli or Santa Margherita for a 2 day stay? We’ll probably want some beach time since we’re coming from Cinque Terre. We are neighbors in the States…Indiana
It really is! Such a stunning place! So, the exact tour that we did is only offered through the cruise line that we were with, but this one out of Genoa (bit.ly/3ZlAveY) is what we had planned on booking but ended up using cruise credits for the one we took instead.
Amazing video & new subscriber for it! Was in Cinque Terre last October and still kicking myself for not making it to Portofino! Now … PLEASE link your dress! GORGEOUS!
Aww… Thank you so much for watching! It really is a special thing to have “your person”. We can’t imagine life without each other!❤️ Your person will come!💕
3:12 houses are painted bright colors so the fisherman see them when they come back from fishing. every fisherman see where his house is. also buildings are high so the woman see the boats when their husbands come back from fishing. offcourse, that was in the past, they kept tradition.
Ligurian Riviera: in theory it should not be necessary to specify "Ligurian" since only this can boast the name of Riviera. All the others, such as the "Riviera Romagnola", are usurpers of title
@@panterone1769Evidentemente sei un ignorante: la Regione Liguria ha presentato numerosi esposti per usurpazione di titolo. "Riviera" non era e non è un sostantivo comune ma è un nome proprio e designa esclusivamente quella ligure
That part of Italy is Beautiful. We lived in Sicily for 10 months through my husbands job with the military. There wasn’t Anything there that beautiful !!
My wife and I are currently planning a trip to Italy next year and our travel agent instead of the Amalfi Cost recommended us going to Cinque Terre region instead as Amalfi can get very expensive especially the hotels. I was a bit skeptical as I knew nothing of Cinque Terre. After Watching your video I am on board and look forward to seeing this area. Great video...btw!!
Nella costiera amalfitana non c'è solo Amalfi, ma una miriade di paesini altrettanto belli. Comunque la Riviera Ligure e le cinque Terre sono bellissimi.
Hey! Thanks so much for watching! For our flights (JetBlue, EasyJet, & Swiss Air), face coverings were not required, but I would recommend checking with your specific airline for the most up-to-date rules and restrictions.
@@AdventuresofMattandNat I didn't realize Portofino was a peninsula. The view at 8:04 optical illusion is the water to the right looks like it's at a higher elevation than that on the left.......I later realized it was all ocean water with a peninsula of land separating. My bad !!!
Girl!!! It was amazing!! Y’all HAVE to go! If i ever get rich enough, we’ll get a place there & y’all can come visit! 🤣😜 Also your Easter baskets you made are the absolutely adorable!! I miss getting Easter baskets & your kids are so blessed to have you as a mom! 🥰💗 - Nat
@@AdventuresofMattandNat Yes!!! Speak it into existence, girl. BTW I totally would’ve would’ve wanted the swing seat at the table too.😆💕 Thank you for the compliment about the baskets!! I love putting them together. 💕
@@ShowMeAnAdventure haha YESS!! lol 🎉 see this is why we are friends?! haha we would've been swinging all evening! lol Absolutely! They are soo cute! What amazing memories you are making for them! ❤
Love the VLOG - we're taking a pretty similar cruise in September and doing this stop. Can you tell me how much this excursion was as of course MSC hide the prices pre-cruise! cheers
