I didn't know he could play the drums but of course it doesn't surprise me. Him and his daddy's backing vocals were f****** fantastic too. He can sing play bass drums and guitar.
His dad was a drummer before he picked up a guitar, and his Uncle was a guitarist first, then they eventually switched and the rest is Van fucking Halen history!!! ☆☆☆☆
Met Wolfie in Salt Lake City during the 2004 Vanhalen tour with Sammy. He was just a little guy running around during soundcheck but you could tell he was a kewl kid who didnt have that spoiled " my daddy is a rockstar attitude" I.E the Osbournes. Kewl kid, keep rockin woolfie.
He actually started out as a drummer and he taught himself how to play. His uncle Alex van Halen taught him the basics and then he learned on his own by listening to music.
They are working on the new cd everyday. It is all in the works on schedule. I assure you. I have a friend on the inside camp. The new material is bad ass!

I like both bands. Van Halen helped usher in a new age of rock and Alter Bridge is also a great modern rock band. Well, maybe they're not at the same level as VH in terms of influence and achievements but I say they're one of the better bands out there today. And yeah, Wolfie rocked! EVH once said in an interview that his son also plays killer guitar. Now that's what I wanna see!

@Hunkola You know why they sell 20,000 seat venues is because most people are clueless what VH is all about ... It's like KISS how many people know that ACE and Peter are not in the band? For these bands it's all about the $ and not the fans.
You always hear about Eddie starting out on the drums and Alex on the guitar. They should switch it up for a couple songs during a show, just rotate through the instruments...lol!
@Hunkola It don't get much better than Alterbridge. Have you listened to them ????? I'm sure if you did you might like what you hear. Music changes with the times it seems like you are stuck back in the 70;s and early 80's with Eddie VH!
Wolfgang is great at drums to?! But let me guess, those drums were pre-recorded! I am totally blown away by his abilities. I hate how the singer doesn't sing his hooks though. I hate when singers do that...even when I'm at the show. It's like I paid to hear you sing, not the crowd.

dropdeadlegs1954 Probably because they were recording the show. The screen is meant to keep all non-drumming sounds from being picked up by the drum mics. They had the exact same setup at a concert in Dortmund I attended, which was recorded for German television.
@Hunkola I honestly belive that Eddie has lost his insperation !!!! Being the Guitar God of the 70's 80's 90's and the milenium just isn't enough. Sammy at 63 years old is still producing some great music!!!! Me personally I perfer the HOB gig's and the small venues and I go to alot of gig's as you can see on my channel. don't hate brother. @Hunkola Hahah wolfie on rhythm? Dude edward is one of the greatest rhythm guitarists of all time. Everyone seems to forget he plays rhythm for 95% of his playing time on record. Want him to sit there for 3 min and play a 30 second solo on each song? this is rediculouse
Man l love Alter Bridge, but this is rubbish, if i was at this show l'd be pissed, l would wanna see Alter Bridge, not Alter Bridge jam with their friends, they are all walking round the stage not knowing what the fuck is going on, Wolfgang Van Halen, your dad has talent, you don't, especially on the drums, beat it kid. i dont know this song, but the van halen kid can play the drums. who knows why eddie van koo koo, eddie van heroin put his kid in an impossible position. trust me, I can't stand him in the band. it ain't van halen. BUT, the kid seems pretty good actually
