One Day stars think *that* shocking twist is justified  

i don’t feel robbed, i feel emotionally crushed. just talking about this show can make me choke up

I feel that when Emma died it made me want them to spend the rest of their life together so badly that I realized it made me appreciate Their love/love story even more.

Robbed was the exact term i used after finishing the series. But not myself, the characters were robbed. They waited all that time and then, just robbed.

Petition to rewrite the plot of One Day, i.e. not kill Em and show how Em & Dex become proud parents to a couple of kids, growing old and grey with all their regular fights and yet how their friendship keeps them together for the rest of their lives ❤

I agree. I love their opinions, but no, I definitely feel completely robbed. 😭😭😭 Even though I loved it so, so much. I'm still tearing up.

I liked the series. I think life is like that. You can't predict what path you follow. Something usually gets in the way and you have to adjust. Good and bad.

i remember seeing the movie and the ending being one of the biggest reasons i loved the story. it’s real. not every ending is happily ever after. there is beauty and happiness interlaced with ugliness and tragedy throughout life, which is what the series portrays in a very real way imo

Though I bawled my eyes out while watching the last episode, on thinking on it - and Emma and Dexter's story definitely stayed with me, I'm still thinking about it - I have come to realise that their love story was complete, that it did not end prematurely. That a person's day of death is pre-ordained but that does not make less of an epic romance and love story. The final message is wholesome - you will be fine after losing a loved one, even one who was such a significant loving part of your story. To have experienced true love is special and Emma and Dexter got to experience true love which too many people just don't get.

I felt every emotion watching the tv show. Just found out it was first adapted as a movie.

This was sooo good. My girlfriends and I had good ol ugly cry, while watching. We may seek a support group for our trauma. 😂

I made my sister watch it after I had, just so we could chat about it as I loved it. We both sobbed even tslking about it. Gosh this series touched my heart and reading these comment we all feel the same. Great actors, great characters x 👏 ❤

I wish at the very last scene, after them kissing they could have then cut back to present day and showed him and his daughter holding hands walking as the final shot while remembering her, signifying always hope left ❤

Its shocking but life is shocking at times. Sometimes you get to the feeling of inexbicable bliss and then suddenly the carpets are snatched right under you. I supposed you just have to be grateful everyday for this moment, right now, at this minute, at this second.

I was shocked and upset Ambika is such a great actress that you just love her character. But now a week later i think it was a great ending. Carpe diem my friends.

This series was great, but they removed the MOST ICONIC LINE OF THE WHOLE MOVIE/BOOK/SERIES, which is when Emma say, "I love you but I don't like you anymore" 😭💔

Yea they didnt watch the show lol. It was absolutely crushing excruciating i almost relapsed and started drinking thinking i didnt want him drinkin alone i sat in my bed and cried like a baby and felt soooooo destroyed lol im joking i only teared a lil but but i definitely felt a sense of depression the last episode was terribly hard to watch lol

Nope, I hated it, she shouldn’t have died and that’s that. It wasn’t justified at all, I mean fridging her merely to fulfill the male lead’s arc?! It’s just such an overused and outdated trope and frankly weak storytelling. I know it’s based off the book but still… 😒

It’s pathetic the need to make sad and depressing story lines. People are not aware of the unconscious programming and depression that it instils in the population. I find it no more than a sign of absolutely cultural decrepit times
