One person is dead and another is hurt after a fiery crash Thursday afternoon in west Phoenix. Phoenix fire officials say the crash happened near 67th Avenue and Van Buren Street. When firefighters arrived, they found two vehicles involved in the crash, one of which was on fire.

I agree with you on speed limits. Nobody obeys them anymore. Including uniform officers in patrol cars. I'm a retired truck driver who has traveled all over the country and unfortunately this kind of driving is a daily occurrence everywhere.

The adverage speed on the fwy is 80. If your doing the speed limit anywhere here your a hazard to others safety.

@larryphillips7349 Public safety is one of the biggest reasons, if not THE biggest reason for speed limits. Anyone who intentionally exceeds the posted speed limit is the one who is endangering the publics safety, not to mention their own. NOT the other way around as you claim. If you are the one speeding and causes an accident or harm to someone not only will you receive a ticket, the insurance companies of everyone involved, including your own, will find you to be at fault and you can easily be criminally charged depending on the damage and injuries. Not to mention that the other person can sue you.
