this side of 1d was never appreciated. everybody judged them based on their singles, and just turned a blind eye to such beautiful songs. that's what makes me mad.

People hate on 1D just because it's a boy band and they've only heard 'That's what makes you beautiful' and not the songs on this album.

This song gives me so much pain and nostalgia. Especially at Harry’s part at the beginning. I feel goosebumps.

“When I close my eyes, all the stars align and you are by my side” I love that part, the vocals are amazing and sounds so harmonic. Their voices are so consonant together, it’s impeccable. It brought tears to my eyes along with goosebumps. Not many songs do that but this one, this is a keeper.

"Four" is so underrated. I mean this album has such mature songs and their voices are so deep. The lyrics are just so deep. i love the whole album. this is my 2nd favorite album. Mitam took the 1st place when it came out.

This song is so beautiful, it made me cry. Seriously, I hate to admit this but I started to drift away from 1D after midnight memories (it could be cuz I'm getting older). I also started listening to different types of music as well. However, after listening to FOUR, my love for these boys just hit me light a freight train. I am happy to say that this album won me back and made me fall in love with One Direction all over again.

I can imagine the performance now: The boys singing with their beautiful voices The lights are low Directioners in the crowd holding up their signs, glow sticks, candles etc. Swaying slowly back and forth to the beautiful tune of this song. :)

Sorry I've been analysing this song for a few days bc it's so beautiful but don't you think this song is about suicide/self destruction? For example: "out loud someone is calling my name and it sounds like you" - a fan calling for help "we are always safe. not even the bad guys in the dark night can take it all away" - they want to save us from ourselves/demons/whatever sorrow we have. "you are by my side" - they will always love us "once in a lifetime you were mine" - Maybe aimed at the fans that are already gone? Why aren't songs like these singles?

i dont know if its just me but when harry comes in at 0:32 it just makes me so emotional i dont know why, maybe its just how he sounds so raw and his voice is full of emotion but it gets me every single time.
