I don't WANT a reunion, I NEED a reunion. Edit: Actually 5 months later i don't really need a reunion. Of course i would be GLAD if they come back together but i don't want them to feel like a reunion is something they're OBLIGED to do. Because their solo careers are breaking records and I'll always support them no matter what

Yeah but I think that (and this is in no offense to any of the other guys, I love them all with a burning passion) that he has the biggest solo career and the interviewers have less questions for the other guys so they talk about one direction, but with Harry they have more questions that are unrelated to one direction

I hate how people are just saying “Harry doesn’t want a reunion” or “the only reason there hasn’t already been a reunion is because of Harry”. Harry has said in an interview that he believes that one direction will have a reunion when they’re ALL ready for it. His solo career is doing really good right now and the other boys are starting to get more recognition which they deserve so much. I’m not trying to come off of rude so if I did I’m sorry I just don’t want people hating kn any of the boys.❤️
I don't think anyone is hating on Harry, but his sound, look, etc is so different now, and he's doing so well solo, many think he won't be ready for a reunion any time soon.

Is is so sweet that Niall is down no matter what. The rest of the boys seem like they want to do it but it’s not a super big thing for them. Niall is clearly so excited and knows that if it weren’t for One Direction, none of them would be where they are right now. Also, they all keep saying “when the boys call” but somebody has to initiate it!!!!

I don't see Harry performing with 1D again. He always speaks highly of the band but not recording new music. Everything about Harry has evolved radically since 1D. It's hard to imagine the 4 of them collaborating. If you notice, the other boys have said a lot about reuniting. Harry doesn't.
The question isn’t IF they will get back together the question is WHEN they will get back together. And nobody has an answer to that question yet not even the boys themselves. I’m pretty sure a reunion isn’t going to happen before 2022. Because Harry, Niall & Louis will be touring next year. So we’ll have to wait a little longer. But hopefully we get a little interaction between the boys on the 23rd. I would be so happy if they did just a Zoom call or something like that. I just want to see the 2020 versions of them interact together. ❤❤❤
Wajjoow I think the main reason why Zayn left was the management and also his mental health. He also didn’t enjoy performing in front of thousand people cuz he has/had anxiety (sorry for my english, english isn’t my native language)

the energy Harry gives off tells me he ain’t as passionate for the group as much as the others but who knows I could be wrong. zayn could come back only if he’s done some soul searching and improved on his mental health, and be really confident in himself.
The day one direction actually post on Instagram or Twitter saying that " Hey guys! One direction is back!! " Or upload a video or something talking about how they're coming back and how their plans for the year ahead will be, all the performances and stuff. That day, I'm telling you here and now that, "THE WHOLE WORLD WILL GO CRAZY!! " And nothing and only nothing will be over top of them. No bts, no Backstreet, no nyscwf, no jonas Brothers will be able to beat them. I assure you that.
i can see why u think that but harry loves the boys, he doesn’t get asked about a reunion as much as the other boys do, when the time is right i’m positive harry will be with the boys.

Louis and Niall in fact didn't want to go on hiatus in the first place, Liam mentions going back and 1D in general a lot in interviews, Harry says he loved them and he works out to their old music and all that, and Niall took a lie detector test where he said they would come back, and it tested as true. if they decide not to because they're happier solo, im ok with that. but they promised. so im holding on to that.
whats sad to even realize is that zayn will probably never reunite with them. he had so many memories and he thankful for those five years but he left. he has great songs and it breaks my heart that he basically disconnected himself from the band :( but fingers crossed that he may do something with them tomorrow or later...

Personal opinion: 1. Am keeping Zayn out of this because we know he left 1D willingly and I totally respect his decision. I miss him alot (we all do) but I have a strong feeling that he will never come back. 1D will start from where they left. 2. I strongly feel louis, liam and Niall never wanted to leave (louis specially). Not sure about Harry. 3. I am so proud of these boys that they don't lie or keep anything from us and they are so grounded even tho they have achieved so much. They are always grateful for one direction. I am sure they will come back one day and I will be there for them❤️

To be honest I think the reunion needs more time even though I'd love it. The reason is I feel like Liam still needs to find his individual style, I love him so much, all of the boys have morr or less found their style, it would be unfair to ask for a reunion before Liam's second album (I'd love a second album from Louis as well 👀)
I just want the all to be friends again, I don't care about them becoming 1D again, they're doing great solo, I just want them to all talk and have fun like they used to

Ik some people are starting doubt about which as it’s been a while which is completely understand. But mostly every single boy band that has either officially disbanded or been on a break has come back in some way or another. And with a band as big them and fans as great as us why on each would they say no. We mean way to much to them and each other to just be like “yeah okay bye” and they wouldn’t lie to us. So just take a breath, and don’t EVER give up on these kings
When they do get back together it should be a total surprise. Like one of them doing a show or an interview then all of the others pop out and they blow us all away with a brand new song they all write together.
I don't know. I feel like harry has gone so far and changed SO much since 1D and though I would love for it to happen I feel like they have all branched off into their own things
They all say they’re down for a reunion, but I think all of them are reluctant to do it because they all want to explore themselves as solo artists. Not just Harry - all of them. I can tell that even Niall is annoyed with these questions. They’re all doing their own things, and people should respect that. They all need their own time, you know? To find their own sound and make music that they really enjoy and are actually proud of. I think we owe it to them to give them that and support them through their careers as solo artists. And when the time is right, when they’re satisfied with what they’ve done independently, they’ll come back. Together, better. And hey, even if a reunion never happens, that’s okay. Maybe they really *love* their lives as solo artists! Isn’t that great? We should be so happy for them! They gave us a great five years together, and that’s more than we can ask for. Their story’s been told, and we have to recognize when it’s come to an end. It was a great chapter, but truthfully I think the boys are eager to move on. Not everyone wants to relive the past. If they want to remain permanently solo, let’s be glad that they’ve found their happy places.
People picking on harry in the comments - stop. He hasn't been asked this question as much as the other boys. The focus is always on his love life. That's not his fault. He has said again and again that he was very proud of the music they made. And it changed his life. Please stop picking on him.
They will come back. Nobody thought the Jonas Brothers would come back, but they grew up, and look at them now. They’re back. Our boys will come back to us
i'm sure they will reunite,it's just a matter of time.They're all enjoying their solo careers right now,but they're also aware that they're not the same without one another.I feel like Liam and Niall would be in immediately,Louis as well.I just think Louis needs a bit more time to finally get all the fame he deserves and everything,i'm sure there will be walls 2 soon!Louis was just shut down immensly by the management during 1d times,but now he changed to a new contract and i just hope he'll be happy there.Harry is a bit difficult,tbh.He loves the boys and the music they produced and he's really grateful.But right now he's having a really good time alone and he's on top of the charts and everything.I don't think it's easy or possible for him to just go like 'now i'll end my solo career'.As well as Louis,he still needs time and the most important factor for a reunion to him his that they're all happy and all up for it,he wants to prevent to be shut down by the management again.But the band plays such a big role in his life,he can't ignore it.Also i think his management wouldn't just let him go now,they're making too much profit and money rn.But i'm sure he wants a reunion,they all want to.About zayn...he's happier like this,i think there's no denying to that.But he loves the boys and they're like his brothers.I just hope he'll make up with Louis soon. Harry is not what he looks like. He loves the boys, he loves the band. Harry was slightly more popular even during the one d days. His new management didn't want to let that go. As soon as the hiatus began, they tried to distance him as much as they can from the one d narrative. Hardly let interviewers ask about that. Heavy marketing for his albums. Then harry in films. There are so many harry stans who dont even know about one d and are pretty happy he is not in a band and that he is going solo. His management would never let him go back towards it, though he wants it badly. But I hope they all can atleast attend talk shows together and be seen together in public more often. Like come on, the management of harry, let him atleast be seen with the other boys together for us . They have been on a hiatus, more than they've been in the band :( Is it really that difficult, come on, get on a talk show together all of you, react to the fond memories from your one d days, react to your video diaries, we just want to see you all together. It is okay, even if you have no other option but to go solo. We will support your solo careers like we have always been doing.

I really hope they‘ll get back together but I feel like when Zayn left Harry was the one who suffered the most. And the break was mostly Harrys idea too. I feel like there clearly is no 1d without Harry and no Harry in 1d without Zayn...but yk, never lose hope.

Louis announced a solo tour so there’s no way they’re officially getting back together as a group anytime soon. Maybe they’ll do a FaceTime call together and sing some old songs, I heard they’re making a website for fans to do fun stuff on whatever that means.. if they’re really generous they might drop a new song or some past unreleased songs, maybe a documentary. or they will just post tweets saying thank you for another year 😭😭😭
the saddest part was watching them kind of seem less interested/up for it gradually, especially harry :( but tbh, i don't mind if its a permanent "getting back together" as long as they're all happy (ofc) but it would be nicer to see them perform together etc.
