It’s weird that some people would hate on them just because they were really popular. These kids were just vibing. I think now we’re more open minded and less in the trend of disliking “popular things.” It’s so ironic. Society can be dumb sometimes.

I'm actually laughing at the haters disliking them just because they're a boy band, and the fact they say that this is awful, but then again this cover is three years old and on the set of their first ever music ever music video, they've gotten older and more mature. Think before you comment.
I don't see how people can say this completely sucked, because honestly, I thought it was great. It doesn't matter if I'm a fan or not, just for music in general, this cover was great. They were young, it was their first music video shoot, and they were just having fun. This isn't studio recorded and honestly, they did a hell of a job covering this. Some prefer Oasis's version; that's fine, but you don't have to be rude and say "they suck, they can't sing" because if you think that, you were clearly deafened by something if you can't realize they actually have talent.
2020 and It’s difficult for me to accept that time passed very quickly, they grew a lot and have come very far. I miss these good old days and if I could relive them I would but now in the present they’re very happy and that is what matters to me. I will love them forever.
So I'm not a fan of pop music, but a lot of people that just hate on One Direction because it's One Direction. I can tell that they can sing, and I respect them for that. Just because you don't enjoy a specific type of music, you should still be able to recognize some sort of talent.

i have no problem with them and they are talented for the type of music they do, but this song does not fit with bubblegum pop, is a song written by a band that basically were the opposite of that .
I'm not a troll or anything, and I would like to respectfully disagree. I don't care for this particular band one way or the other, but I just really don't like this cover. They're supposed to be professional musicians, yet their harmonization is amateur at best, and in general this just doesn't sound good as a group song. They're having fun with it and that's great, and its always nice to see young people coming together and just enjoying music that we, and they love and I happen to think that's a beautiful thing regardless of how it sounds. I don't hate them, and if they came out with a song that I liked then I wouldn't care who wrote or preformed it, that's how I am. I normally don't pay close attention to bands or singers (cept like UVERworld, & VAMPS, and no not The Vamps who totally ripped off Hyde, Ju-ken, and Kaz sans names pfft that ish be personal lol u know us crazy jrock fans) just songs, I don't care about the genre, race, gender, or whatever if I like it I like it period, and yes there are some bands that I absolutely love because they consistently make music that I love, like Muse, Incubus, Silversun pickup, pretty Ricky, Pharell, Alicia Keys, Paramore, some Taylor Swift now and again, Bjork, Tricky, Olivia Lufkin, Abingdon Boys School, Buck Tick, the list goes on. Assuming you bothered to read all of this (my apologies I talk a lot) my point is that my disliking this cover has absolutely nothing to do with the people singing or my feelings towards them. I just honestly and objectively happen to think that it's not very good, especially in comparison to the original version by Oasis, a band I also like quite a bit. I'm sure there are other people here who are objectively feeling the same way, and of course we all have that right and can agree to disagree. Just don't feel the need to undermine the opinions of others based on an assumption that isn't always true in some cases. I love all the haters who are bothering to trash this cover. I mean this was at the beginning of 1d's career. They were all teenagers here and had very little experience performing together up to that point. I mean get these five together today and have them re-do the cover and it would be 1000% better seeing as they've all grown leaps and bounds as musicians.

I'm a fan of Oasis and I want to say that this is very good cover. I don't understand why some people hate it just because it was covered by One Direction. You should know that the world is changed now and twenty years passed so fast. Don't say that I'm gay just because I said this is very good cover. I didn't love them but in the same time I didn't hate them either. Sometimes you should respect others.
