Hey guys, did you know that in terms of Water-Type Pokemon and teambuilding versatility, Vaporeon is my favorite Pokemon? Not only is it in the Field egg group which allows for an amazing egg movepool, Vaporeon has a Base HP of 130 and Base Special Defense of 95, which means they’re bulky enough to be able to handle special sweepers and with their impressive Base Stat for HP and a comparatively solid Base Defense, this means they can tank rough attacks.

And that’s why Sylveon is the face of fairy types.

Another fun fact about Espeon: Red from the adventures manga owned a eevee who could evolve into flareon,jolteon, and vaporeon after being experimented on by team rocket. Though red permantly evolved it into espeon which disabled its ability to evolve into other eeveelotions.

As another fun fact about Umbreon, Synchronoise is a technically viable move in Scarlet/Violet thanks to terastalizing. That means that giving Umbreon a Tera type that’s weak to psychic (preferably fighting because you can expect it) and Synchronoise, you can pull off a wacky super effective attack that your opponents would never expect.

Vaporeon is also a good HM slave pokemon if you are running for full eevee team Leafeon design is amazing, but including it in eevee team is pain in the ass

I already knew about Leafeon and Leaf Blade in Gen 4. Glad they changed it in later generations.

To be fair about the Synchronoise bit, the move was introduced in the same generation that introduced Soak, which changed the target's type to Water, and the Ring Target, which removed the holder's type immumities. Then gen 6 would introduce Forest's Curse and Trick-or-Treat, which added the Grass and Ghost types respectively to target Pokemon. All in all, Synchronoise on Umbreon is a very situational Doubles move, but not useless.

Flareon has as much attack as machamp btw

Fun fact: In Pokémon colosseum a lady says her life long boyfriend is a mightyena, and in let’s go a guy says he wants to give his girlfriend a water stone but he is afraid she will evolve and in the best wishes anime it shows a guy marrying his gothitelle. So yeah human Pokémon relationships are legal in canon, and in the sun and moon demo a lady was waiting for her boyfriend for days and then on the last day a machamp shows up. Theory: I have a theory that pokemon human relationships are probably legalized in places like Kanto but are illegal in places like sinnoh, that would explain why we see npc’s say they are dating a Pokémon in places like kanto, but not in places like sinnoh.

Did you know that of all the Eeveelutions, Vaporeon is the only one that doesn't share a weakness with another Eeveelution? Umbreon and Glaceon are both weak to fighting. Leafeon and Sylveon are both weak to poison. Jolteon and Flareon are both weak to ground. Flareon and Glaceon are both weak to rock. Espeon, Umbreon, and Leafeon are all weak to bug. Sylveon and Glaceon are both weak to steel. Glaceon and Leafeon are both weak to fire. Vaporeon is weak to only Electric and Grass.

Did you know that in terms of male human and female Pokémon as PETs, Vaporeon is the most compatible Pokémon for humans? Not only they look like cute water dogs Vaporeon are an average of 3"03' tall and 63.9 pounds. this means they're large enough to be able to handle human hugs and petting , and with their impressive Base stats for HP and access to Acid Armor, you can give chocolate to them, unlike normal dogs. Due to their mostly water based biology, there's no doubt in my mind that an happy Vaporeon would be incredibly wet, so wet that it could easily clean your house for you. They can also learn the moves cute puppy and Baby-Doll eyes so they can be really cute just like a normal dog. With their abilities Water Absorb and Hydration, they can easily clean your pool. No other Pokémon comes close with this level of compatibility as a PET. Vaporeon is literally built for human PET. Ungodly defense stat + high HP pool + Acid Armor means it can be cute all day and be with you for longer then a normal dog
