This was one of those moments when I realised that the chance to slow down and chill is something that I've forgotten how to do it. Thankyou. A small catapult glider may be next on the list.

I always thought a 30" wingspan Pacific Ace would be a great flyer. All of them flew great, thanks Tom.

The Jimmie Allen Skokie flight was just amazing and it finshed so well. I went over to Easy built to get one. Thanks Tom. P.S. I just ordered the Sky Raider from George at Volare. Pretty much the same airframe with a 26 inch span.

What! That's remarkable how far that Skoakie went! n' Came back? So cool! This is like magic to see these tremendous treasures & hard work someone does to produce these! . . . It's just neat flying too. Seems scale somehow. Slow.

Well I come here to relax, but this is so action packed, I can't possibly comment in the least intelligently without first taking notes! 🤣PHEW! But for now, I detect a theme here, somewhat.. How does an airframe stack up against oncoming wind (and, part conversely, thermal) in terms of acquisition of lift? What particular characteristics does a model aeroplane need to maximise the potential of the unique conditions of a single period of flight? Hmm🤔..
