Episode 94: One Foot in Heaven with Guest Heidi Barr
What can the dying teach us about living? What do their experiences teach us about the afterlife? What is a deathbed vision?
Heidi Barr shares from her 14 years of experience as a hospice nurse. In this episode Heidi defines hospice, shares her journey to hospice work, her variety of patients and situations (patient names are changed to protect confidentiality), insights she has gained through her work, deathbed visions (24:05) commonly witnessed near the last days, the common occurrence of a patient passing as family steps away (41:46), vicarious glimpses of heaven, how we can be helpful to our loved ones while in hospice care, and so much more.
I LOVE this one. Heidi, thank you for sharing your beautiful experiences with us!
“The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side." Luke 16:22 NIV
1 Corinthians 2:9
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.

I was diagnosed a year ago Dec13. Pancreatic Cancer stage 4. Also cancer in my lymph nodes & spots on my lungs. My husband of 27 years had COPD very bad. We got on Hospice last March. I asked God to let me take care of my husband. He got worse & passed Aug 21, 2022. And here I am Dec 31st 2022, and Praise God I turned 80 today. My husband was a Christian & I am too. I know he went to Heaven & no longer has to be suffering. I have no idea what God has for me to do? I am seeing signs of my weight is now 81. Stomach size increases. Pain have had for years with arthritis. Gets bad at times. My being wore out more often. In 2019 of July 17th I lost my son of children of 4 of a massive heart attack. The kids lost their dad in 2021 of Leukemia. I have stomach issues everyday. But I praise God everyday for being here. I just thought I would share my journey.

My grandmother passed under hospice care in Florida. About 14 days into it she hadn’t eaten or had any fluids for that time and was sleeping/comatose for days. Her daughter, my aunt, was sitting with her and my grandmother suddenly said “Barbara!” My aunt was shocked, looked up from her chair and said “Yes, mom?”. She was clear-eyed, looking at her and glowing from the inside out! No other words were spoken by my grandmother. My aunt felt a wave start at the top of her head and go down to her feet. She can only describe it as love and acceptance, forgiveness. My aunt and my grandmother had some rough years over their lifetimes. My aunt was overcome with emotion of all of those feelings and never took her eyes off her mother. My grandmother closed her eyes and took her last breath. Shortly afterwards my aunt was washing her body preparing her for her trip to the coroner’s. My aunt felt her mother’s presence And heard her voice in her head. She asked her daughter where was she going now and my aunt told her she could go anywhere she wanted to. She asked if she could go see her son (my father) and me. My aunt said yes you can go anywhere you want and she felt her leave. At that time I was on the other side of the country in California and I knew my grandmother was dying probably that day and I was trying to stay busy cleaning my house but I was very sad and heavy with mourning, already. I was sitting on the floor and I had taken out all the pictures I had of my grandmother and laid them all across the white carpet and was looking at them, remembering such loving times. My aunt did not know that was what I was doing at that specific time. Shortly afterwards she felt my grandmother again, her presence in the room. She heard my grandmother say tell Bob I love him and tell Charlene “I loved all the pictures and that they were beautiful!” She then asked if she could go search for somebody who had passed on many years ago and my aunt said yes go where your heart leads you. She said my grandmother was giddy with excitement. She felt energy and youthfulness and such happiness from my grandmother’s spirit. My aunt said it was like she was totally free… She was somewhat a negative person and was never super happy when she was alive. What a difference, she said! She left again and didn’t return. All the while my aunt was preparing my grandmother‘s body with dignity and care and said goodbye when they took her body away. She truly was gone. It was such a beautiful experience, my aunt said. She now could understand why hospice workers love their job.

This interview had my attention the entire time. I'm relatively young, I have stage 4 lung cancer and I've been battling a terrible infection in one of my lungs for 4 months now. I went through 19 rounds of chemo, and a year and a half on immunotherapy. Last treatment was in 2019. I was diagnosed in 2017. God worked amazing miracles in my life...I've actually felt guilty for receiving so many miracles. I was blessed so much with 5 new grandbabies during my remission. My cancer has come back, this was amazing to listen to..I'm so worried for my children and grandchildren....I had no idea you could have hospice early? I hope I get an amazing hospice nurse like you. Thanks for this.

My mom had Alzheimer’s and went into afib in April 2019. She started talking about going to Center Point (while pointing her finger at the ceiling) which is where she grew up going to church and the location of the cemetery where both her family and my dad’s family are buried. Since she was an inpatient in a hospital, we met with the hospice doctor to see if we could get her admitted there. That doctor refused, outright, and treated me and my two brothers like we wanted her euthanized. Fast forward to July 2019. My father had fallen head first into a door facing and had suffered a traumatic brain injury. He was transferred to rehab in a nursing home and was later admitted as a resident. As soon as we could, we got my mom into the same nursing home. Since April, her health had rapidly declined, so the nursing home put her on hospice. I didn’t know much about hospice, then, but I knew that what the nursing home considered hospice had much more to do with getting extra money than with the comfort of the resident. After weeks and weeks of trying to negotiate better care for both my mother and my dad, we contacted the representative from a hospital inpatient hospice. She evaluated my mother, and at our insistence, gave her opinion on how long my mom had to live. She estimated two weeks, which I, having been with my mother daily, completely agreed with. My mom was transferred that evening. The very first thing they did was bandage my mother’s feet. Her feet were covered in painful sores that occur when blood circulation decreases. (The nursing home had no idea what those sores were and were oblivious to the amount of pain my mother suffered when moved. ) The next day I met with the hospice physician. I had medical power of attorney and she asked me what meds I wanted my mother given. I told her I wanted her to be as free from pain and anxiety (mom had sun-downers) as possible. Later when I asked for my mother to be catheterized to minimize how much she had to be moved, they did it that day. I sang hymns for her and told her it was ok for her to go. We would take care of dad and we would all be ok. She lasted almost two weeks and drew her last breath when she was alone in her room. That was October 12, 2019, less than six months after we had requested hospice for my mother at that first hospital. My dad passed 6 days later in a hospital ER, of pneumonia, surrounded by his family. By sheer will, of both my dad and my younger brother, my dad was able to attend my mother’s funeral. The last coherent sentence that my mom said while in the nursing home was “Wouldn’t it be great if your dad and I could go together?” They had known each other for over 80 years, had been married 66 years and died 6 days apart. Close enough.

When my grandma was dying, she had basically been comatose for 6 days. We could wake her up enough to sip water from a straw, but she didn't open her eyes....She would just sip, eyes closed.... Hospice was there. 🙌 Bless y'all ❤️ You're amazing.... Anyway, she hadn't opened her eyes for 6 days, and only slightly woke up to sip water, never opening her eyes....Then out of nowhere, she sat straight up in bed, eyes still closed, reached out with her arms and said "Mama"??? ......"Mama"!!!! First like a question, then a recognition! She was excited! Eyes still closed.....to us....but she was seeing her mama 💜 She smiled ☺️ Eyes still closed..... Smiling, she laid back down. She passed about 8 hours later, having not opened her eyes again.... I was an atheist. It confused me. I remained an atheist for another 15 years until I had a near death experience. I was with my grandma again....and I'm not an atheist anymore. I despise religions, what they've become, but I know truths now. And one truth is that we don't end. We continue. We're just in meat suits right now. Love binds us. I've seen my grandma in her true form, not human form at all, and she's more alive now than this human form allowed! Pure love. Raw love. 💕

I sensed a darkness, heavy, negative spiritual in passing neighbors house. I shook it off. I tried to reason it away. I couldn't shake it off. I asked my son to call police. The police found my neighbor dead for a couple days, from same time I experienced that negative energy coming from his house. Lesson learned to realize we can sense spiritual atmosphere, follow your conviction (your gut feeling). I wish I had checked on him from that first moment I sensed it.
@everydaymiraclespodcast1395
😮oh my goodness I am so sorry. I do sense these things too at times. When we moved into our home we walked around and prayed over it and used oil to bless it and my husband (who wasn’t completely sold on this) said he felt a cold rush of air on one spot and got creeped out. That says a lot. We probably need to do it again. I also pray over hotel rooms

I really love Heidi! I have heard her NDE interview on several channels including here. She is such a genuine and beautiful soul and a true follower of Christ in her spirit. The fact that she continues to pray for and show love to the father that contributed to her painful childhood is a testimony to the purity of her forgiving heart! Thank you both for this wonderful discussion! I'm an ex muslim and my muslim mom was in a coma for nearly 3 weeks before she died nearly a year ago and I played the audio Bible and prayed fervently during that time for my precious Mom to have a salvific encounter with Jesus during that time. My still muslim father is in his 90s and this discussion has certainly helped open up my mind/heart more and given me much to be hopeful for and think about as I contemplate the time I have left with him along with preparing emotionally, spiritually and mentally for the inevitable moment when he passes. I pray my Mom welcomes him in to that same lush meadow! 🙏🏼 God bless you both and I can't wait for Heidi's 2nd book to be published! ✨🤍✝️🕊🫶🏼

I live in another country, but if I could have anyone at all to be with me/care for me at the end of my life (I’m 72), Heidi would be my absolute first choice. I think she is, indeed, an Earth Angel, a truly beautiful soul and the light of Jesus and goodness shines from her. Apart from the pain, I have no fear of dying - in fact, without being negative and morbid, I welcome it - as I have suffered all my life with increasingly bad health and much pain. I cannot wait to see my Saviour’s beautiful face and, if the last living human’s face I saw before passing was Heidi’s, I’d be absolutely delighted. God bless you and God bless Heidi. Please tell her what a profound affect she has had on me. Chris 💜✝️🙋‍♀️🤲🇬🇧

Death is a great mystery. I have been near death four times . Plane car crash and twice peritonitis. I've seen the tunnel and the life film . Near death pain is very different to pain in other situations . Although one is in agony there is a spiritual aspect . As the body shuts down the spiritual soul becomes your reality and your true self . I have deep faith in the Lord therefore have no fear .

Heidi what an amazing testimony. I was very ill a week before Christmas I had covid and it turned into pneumonia all during Christmas I was coughing non stop .Eventually my daughter took me to see her doctor where she lived. He actually sent me for an Xray and gave me antibiotics 500mg every 12 hours. You confirmed to me seeing Jesus face was a near death experience. My vision was I was guided to look at the sky where I saw a smal light from the light there was rats if light coming toward me then I saw a small cloud near the tiny light.i then saw Jesus with his hands outstretched the last part of the vision was gazing at Jesus face to face. That just happened over a week ago. Watching your video made me realise I wS having a near death experience but he sent me back to be his hands and feet.Amen

I thoroughly enjoyed this interview more than I have the ability to express. I share the same first name with Heidi 😀. Incredible similarities. My passion was always babies and geriatric patients. I have the gift to serve. In my younger years I was fascinated and loved babies so much, I wanted to be a midwife, until I had a very difficult pregnancy and micropreemie baby. Working in pediatrics at that time I worked with this amazing RN who also was a birth Doula. This was the first time I heard of this title. Sadly I met her after I gave birth to my baby, (but God has His reasons why these things happen) I had volunteered for years in hospice and had a gift to help those passing. I never had fear and had the ability to bring comfort to the patient and the family. It was a surprising gift that I cherished and thanked God. The thought came to mind that a death Doula is definitely needed in this world. Suddenly a few years after this thought came to me, I started seeing the title actually pop up and happening. I believed so much this is a calling in my life. My last hospice experience was the most extremely painful and emotional experience. My mother in law was on hospice. She was initially e pected to live for sometime on hospice, but within days she declined rapidly. My heart was broken. Her last works breathlessly to me was, "I don't want to go." It broke my heart. Because I loved her so much, I was able to lay in bed next to her to comfort her. I thought I had more time with her. It was the first time I was with someone dying that she was not seeing anyone she loved coming through. I asked her and there was nobody. She wasn't scared she just fought it till the end. She didn't want to leave us. We told her we would all be ok and she could move on to be with Jesus. It was Traumatic for me. It has been two years, but I have not felt that desire to be an EOLD since then. I feel like I failed somewhere and somehow. I wanted her to go peacefully and easily, she didn't. We will see where God leads me. I am thankful to come across this interview. I love this so much and I thank you kindly. God bless you.
@everydaymiraclespodcast1395
Oh my goodness Heidi, I am so sorry this happened with your mother in law. I am starting a new prayer journal with names of others I pray for and I will add you to it, for peace and healing. It sounds like you did everything you could possibly do to help her in her transition. I am glad this interview could help you remember some of the beautiful experiences you had in your work. I have not heard of a death doula, but what a perfect explanation. It is funny, I too wanted to work with babies and children in the early part of my career. I was able to do a rotation through Shriner's burn institute in Cinci and it completely broke my heart. We had tons of kids who had been burned in abuse. I won't share them because it is too heavy, but I found it hard to face the parents (when they weren't in jail), and I fell in love with a little toddler (legs were scalded in a dip burn) that I cared for over weeks who's parents were in jail and nobody ever came to see her. I carried her on my hip each day. I would have adopted her if I had been able and I still think about her and wonder how her life turned out. Anyway, I am sure the 3 of us would have lots to share. I will pray for God to heal you and lead you to your next chapter. Blessings Heidi!

When my mother passed I wasn't there, but when I did go to my sister's house where she died, I saw a vision of angels coming and going up and down from heaven straight into the room where my mother passed. It was very beautiful and joyful. My 1 1/2 year old niece came and she was running back and forth in front of the couch where my mother passed and was laughing nonstop. When my mother passed, my sister was sitting up in bed in her bedroom with the door open just a wall separating them and she says she never heard anything, even though the tv volume was very low (she had a heart attack). I felt that presence there for many months afterwards. I'm very excited because on 12/12/22 I had a vision at work as I was working of me in Heaven in a big crowd for very happy people in white dresses looking upward and singing very joyfully. I will be going home soon. A couple weeks before my mom passed, I was at work then too and heard beautiful bells ringing, yet none of my co-workers heard anything. I also dreamed the funeral exactly as it happened of my father-in-law one month before he passed from an aneurysm.

I was caregiver for Mom with home hospice. She passed while I went with my daughter to run an errand. We were only gone a short while to pick up a to go order. My niece was in the living room studying for her nurse's aide test. When we returned Mom was warm but not breathing. I felt terrible that she was alone. I wanted to be with her all the way on her journey. She accepted Jesus during a lucid moment while visiting with a coworker in the week or so before. I have wished that I never left her side. Maybe she chose to go at that time. Thank you both for sharing this.

If you have never experienced someone passing it can be traumatic for you even if it is peaceful for them. My cousin and I had and elderly friend that we visited often through the years and one of her wishes was that she wouldn't be alone when she passed. We went to her 90th birthday party and two weeks later before we could get back to see her again she suffered a stroke. She was in the hospital where her niece and a friend were taking turns staying with her. I asked God to please let me see her one last time. We went to the hospital and her niece and husband had gone home and the friend was there. We were in the room with her and talked to her. She knew who we were . She tried to talk even though the words didn't come out and she was alert. I believe she was saying " I knew it was about time my girls came to see me." We stayed in the room for a little bit longer and then went out in the hall to talk to the family friend. Before we left we went in to say goodbye. I held her hand and with my eyes closed I prayed thanking God for her and her friendship and as I was praying God took her home to be with him. I heard her last gasp of breath as she passed away. I opened my eyes and looked into the most clear blue eyes I had ever seen. She was at peace and she got her wish that she wasn't alone. It was very upsetting for me because I was not expecting that to happen but she chose to go that way and with her girls. I was so upset over it that I couldn't eat for three days until her funeral was over. After I had time to think about it I felt honored that God used us to answer her prayer and he answered mine too. Even though I did not choose this myself it all worked out the way she wanted it to. It was over a week before we could get to the hospital to see her. I hope this helps you .

My moms been gone now 20 years as of 12/22. She was a woman of strong faith & commitment to Christ throughout my entire life even though she was in a VERY difficult marriage etc - yet while in hospice she suffered greatly until her last breath. I prayed several times a day for the Lord to give her and my brother & sister peace at least at the end to no avail - 20 years later I’m still praying for something - anything . I’ve been watching these NDE all these years hoping to glean from someone else’s positive peaceful experience. It’s weird isn’t it how God gives it to some and not others - hmmm

I cried out to Jesus to help me let go of my big and only brother as he is currently in hospice care. My prayers were answered when this video came onto my RU-vid screen. Heidi’s testimony is truly amazing. There’s a song that has lyrics stating that there’s angels among us. I’m a believer that is true. All praise and thanksgiving goes to my Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit for providing Heidi’s testimony.

My sister told me that my dad before passing and when he was no longer speaking and no longer moving in the last two days of his life on earth, suddenly early in the morning, he sat up unaided in bed, with his hands stretched forward in front of him and said: Dad (Papa' in Italian) then laid down once again and with a smile which remained on his face, he passed away. In the last few days of his body shutting down, no speaking nor moving, I saw in an open vision, my grandparents, my dad's parents, standing in the afterlife next to each other and waiting for him, I also so my deceased mother who passed away years earlier, my dad's wife that is, passing as a flash really close to my eyes so that I could only see her face head and shoulders, as she was running in a hurry and she was much younger than when she died, and I was so intrigued and kept asking God why was my mum running? Finally, after a day and a half, the answer came into my spirit saying: your mum was in a faraway place within my city and as soon as she heard that your dad was going to arrive soon, she run from her place and came towards my dad's parents who were already waiting for him. Throughout all this, my sister and my brother were with my dad in his home as they looked after him, and I was here in England, London where I live, experiencing these visions. God is so amazingly good. I am so grateful to Him for allowing me to see my grandparents and my now younger mother. I also had dreams of my mum and my dad on other occasions.

Love my fellow nurse listeners! You have to stay tuned as I am working on a special project that will honor nurses and others (first responders and others too). As a prior nurse I have been SO moved to hear guests share about how God moved through their nurse or provider. Some are moved to tears as they share. I created this podcast to share Jesus. That is my goal, but what a blessing it has been for me as a former nurse (20 plus years) to hear these testimonies! I will get it out eventually but I keep adding more clips to it! There are so many! It is really going to be something!

I lost my grandmother 3 weeks ago today. She was on hospice care exactly 1 month and 2 days. I visited her frequently and saw a decline every time and knew her time was really close. The night before she passed, she fell and hit her head on the corner of her dresser. It was then I knew she wouldn't make it through the weekend. My sister and I were there with her. I have guilt., we both do. I had just went down the road to my house and was coming back to stay the night. The second I drove up to my house, my sister called telling me to come back NOW. I knew who was calling me and why before I looked at my phone to see who it was. I sped back over, she was losing consciousness. I suspect she had a stroke from the fall. We called her hospice nurse and we stared her hourly morphine. I take comfort in knowing I was there in her last moments, providing comfort, kindness, love, and dignity. It was the most spiritual moment I have ever experienced.
@everydaymiraclespodcast1395
Wow thank you for sharing this special moment with us. I am so sorry for your loss, but what a gift that you could be there at her passing to comfort her. I hope you can let go of any guilt you felt about the fall. I can imagine you did the best that you could and it was not your fault. I didn't know her, but I can only imagine she would not want you to carry that. I am so happy you got to have this spiritual moment with her. I just feel it was also special for her too. Blessings Leslie!

I hope she didn't suffer and we were able to keep her comfortable with her morphine. She was at home in her bed, like she wanted. I'm also grateful it wasn't prolonged, like it can be. The unknown.

Awesome testimonials and Heidi has such a beautiful humble nature in tackling so many situations without discrimination and judging others but just focusing on her caring and helping the people before their passing, showing them love. The Scriptures tell us that we can do miracles, signs, and wonders, but if we do not have love we are like noisy cymbals. He told us that the greatest gift of all is love and for us to love one another as He has loved us. He still does and always will.

I really loved this video and hearing about these experiences from Christians because our worldview is radically different than unbelievers. Seeing heaven, angels, loved ones, reaching out and up, etc., with joy on their face. We know what that's all about! Are you able as Hospice nurses to share the gospel with people in Hospice who don't know the Lord? Have you experienced unbelievers having the opposite and horrible experiences of facing hell?
@everydaymiraclespodcast1395
Yes I loved this one too! As nurses we are encouraged in our training to respect the beliefs of the patients. I have never done hospice, but I know in the hospital there was a place in the chart that specified religious beliefs (if they were Jehovah witness they didn't accept blood or often any blood related product so it was relevant clinically as well). I always loved that we had that info available. Some would say none but you can offer if they would like a prayer and I never had anyone say no (if we had time to pray, many times we didn't but I just prayed in my head for the person). I would have to ask Heidi specifically, but I want to say in her book that she spoke about this. I know her heart for others and I imagine she would be open to sharing if she felt the patient would be open for listening, but she would never push anything. She is very respectful of others. As far as the hell question..she did share the one story about the woman being tormented, but I have no idea if she was a believer. I know personally that I saw a man in the ICU come out of a code and he was absolutely terrified. He desperately wanted the chaplain. I didn't want to know what he saw. I will never forget it. I don't know if he was a believer. He wasn't my patient but I was there. I remember his nurses saying that he had been a real bear to take care of but was different after the experience. I wish now I knew what he saw but there was such a chill all around that room I just wanted to get the doge out of there. There are hellish NDEs on Randy Kay and Shaun Tabatt's shows. Ivan Tuttle, Jim Woodford, and Howard Storm are some others that you may want to search.

This was an incredible interview.. as was the interview previously recorded of Heidi's NDE! It has always bothered me that I was out of the room when my father died. I was taking my turn sleeping in his room with him and when I woke that morning, I lovingly checked to see if he was still breathing/alive, and finding him with no change, I quickly went to the bathroom but when I returned, he was gone. Now I am feeling SO much better knowing that was HIS choice and was only waiting until I went out of the room.. Thank you! Please.. when is Heidi's next book coming out that is about her NDE unedited??

Yes I cried reading the end of her book, but in a happy tears way. I have been in the presence of patients as they are passing, but not personally as a family member. I hope to be able to help my loved ones as they cross over. I thought her explanation of transition in death is similar in a way to birth (it is a spiritual crossing over). I didn't see that until I became a nurse. I had to do post mortem care on people after they die (in the ICU the nurse does this). It was an experience bathing someone and thinking that this was someone's little baby, maybe someone's little sibling, someone's first love and all of the things they must have seen in their life and experienced. I have even felt at times like they were lingering, and I can't explain that, but there was just a sacred-ness about it. Being a nurse was an amazing, exhilarating, and sometimes heartbreaking experience but it taught me a lot about human connection.

I heard the earlier podcast where Heidi talked about her near death experience. I was so glad to hear that you were doing this one so I immediately googled it. I noticed that she had said that Jewish people were the hardest to talk to about death because they would rather suffer endlessly than die. SHE had said that many Jewish people are agnostic which I have noticed on the web. Certain people I follow who are Jewish say that or identify as atheist. I feel that by side stepping the religion/God question, they missing out in more ways than . Heidi said the grass even knows that God is there and praises God with every sway in the breeze and every nod to the Sun or the Moon. I have known this for some time-- not from a near-death experience-- but several times, time just sort of stopped --and there's no reason for it to do that --but it just did. I was in nature and at that time I understood nature as if I were part of nature in the same sense as grass is rather than as most human beings exist which is estranged from nature, divorced from nature and estranged from God, even if they might evoke his name. In all events,I'll try to get her book. I would love to know if I have understood her correctly. I found her to be such a fascinating person and so full of love that I so enjoyed her previous podcast. I too when I lived in California in the Los Angeles area went to three different denominations. I went to the Catholic denomination which was being held in a huge tent-- like you would have for a circus --because they were having construction done on the building; and for me it was actually wonderful being in that tent with the congregation. THEN later in the week I went to an Episcopal Church in Beverly hills which I also enjoyed as the minister was female which would never occur in a Catholic Church. AND then I went to a Jews for Christ and learned that there is the Messianic one and there was the one that is not Messianic which was this one. THEY simply are Jews who believe in Christ which sounds to me is what Heidi is. BUT it seems she sort of has the best of both worlds because she takes the Jewish faith in its strongest form which is orthodoxy and goes to the Temple and then she goes to the Christian church which has the strongest form which is evangelism. Those were great days when I went to all those places of my worship. I would be curious-- because she has spanned two of the three monotheistic faiths-- WHAT she thinks of the Muslim faith? WHAT she thinks of Israel and Palestine? AND WHAT she thinks of the relationship of those two peoples on that sacred land? I have been to Jerusalem. I have been to Israel & Palestine but during a time when the wars there were not so great. Although she does not want to be a pastor or a rabbi in the non Orthodox Judaism, I think if she continues to write she could maybe be a very uniquely placed to unite the three monotheistic religions and be a liaison for all three-- just as in the hospice she's a liaison between life and death for those people who are passing their last days of life in a hospice. I have no fear of death but I'm really not ready right now and I'm really curious if you could ask Heidi to talk about covid and the disease and the vaccine that causes so many deaths. They're saying perhaps more deaths & permanent damage is from vax than covid. WHAT does she think of all that's occurred in the grand scheme of things, including the shut down of all places of worship. Also did her children identify as Jews or Jewish Christians or agnostics or atheists? Just curious. THANKS

Heidi is right that it is ultimately up to that person about what choice they make (God in heaven or Satan in hell), but when she encountered that woman who had had a stroke and the woman was literally running from some unseen thing, this woman was seeing a demonic being. As believers in Jesus, we have authority in His Jesus' name to tell those entities to go and they have to obey. If Heidi had told that entity(ies) to leave, they would have had to go, BUT she is totally right that it is ultimately up to that woman to have chosen what she wanted: God or not God. Say, if a person is possessed by an evil spirit, they must choose to be free. We can't make a demonic spirit leave if the person wants it there. Each of us has authority over our own person. Luke 10:19-20 shows us that Jesus said to believers in Him: "I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. But don't rejoice because =evil spirits obey you=; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven." Anyway, I enjoy hearing Heidi's insights!
