One For All TV Antennas Blogger Review 

Yo this is crazy. I recently bought a 2nd hand caravan. I been in it 3 weeks. I have a tv but i dont get any channels. I had seen that thing on the roof. Today i did some digging. Its that white one you showed. I think its mounted on a pole on the roof but i dont think its connwcted to electricity and it surely is not connected to my tv. I will probably need to get the acessories to hook it up. I went to their website to see where nearesst tv antennas are. I have 2 that are 3km away as my nearest options. How can i see what channels i could possibily get with these like u saw on this vid. On the website i just see its compatible but nothing about what channels i can get

Is it just me or is it silly to point out that the "digital" antenna can receive 4K. No antenna is digital nor 4K. Even your 60 year old mast antenna can receive 4k quite well. An antenna is just that - an antenna which purpose is to be able to receive radio waves. All it has to do is be able to receive the carrier wave and the rest is up to the receiver (TV in this case) to decode carrier wave. As long as the antenna is designed for the wave lenghts that is transmitted on then it's able to receive whatever signal is encoded in the carrier wave. That said there has been great advancements in reception technology in the last two decades. Mainly in the amplifier department where amplifiers have lower self noise and more amplification and the ability to filter out noise in unwanted bands so those do not overwhelm the amplifier with signals that don't carry the information wanted. A great example here is the ability to filter out 4G as those frequencies aren't used for TV (watching TV via 4G is still not a TV signal - it's data (internet) on the 4G band). So while you enormous passive 60 year old antenna is working just as well as it did 60 years ago they're not that common these days. Nobody want giant antennas on their house and therefore smaller amplified versions has gained huge popularity.
