My German shepherd had a very sweet and calm demeanor like her too. It takes a good owner who trained them correctly which she definitely has a great owner we can tell.

I was thinking Australian Working Kelpie. The girl who runs the Tara Farms channel on RU-vid has a Kelpie. Nora's wiry coat and coloring make me think of Tara's Kelpie, who is called Slug aka Typo.

There's something so hilarious about a big serious looking shepherd whining like a puppy and needing to be move-scraped across the table to get his little claws professionally and completely painlessly clipped. She's so beautiful and she has the most adorable face!! I could never do anything other than cuddle her when she cries like that!

@@radolfkalis4041that hair dryer is scaring her and I suspect it hurts her ears which probably have water in them, and I didn't really like how she was over doing it around her anal glands either that might have really hurt her as well. Just an observation our girl lived till she was 17 I believe.

OMG I can't believe you used the hose of acid sprayer on her face and when she survived you used the hose of fur striping. THEN you used the brush of many pokes and and AND the comb of terror and you finished it with the clippers of crippling. She is such a brave girl for surviving the almost hour of torture. I miss my shepherd 12 years gone now

In my teen years and early 20's we had a German Shepard (we'd had others but not like this one) and he was so cool. Even at 6 months (we adopted him from an animal shelter) he was so calm and dignified. He loved car rides and I'd take him. He'd sit in the back seat, calm, facing front, like a human. He was so smart. I would play hide and seek with him. We both loved it. That was 40+ years ago and here I am tearing up as I type. I still miss him. Was he typical as a German Shepard? I don't know. We had various cats, dog breeds growing up and they all have their different personalities.

It is a shame... we give credit to an owner when a dog is well behave but blame them.when it struggles. Dogs have their own personalities and some of the best most aware owners have the dogs that struggle!

I'll just never stop being amazed a dog will try to jump out of a car window to feel more wind blowing through their fur and into their face but the dryer turns them into babies. Dogs are incredibly confusing, mysterious, and a freaking blessing to mankind. They have to be angels on Earth.

She looks just like my grandpa's dog Towler who was a willing companion no matter where I roamed as a little girl. That was 70 years ago, and I still think of him with love and tenderness. Dogs are so kind to us humans, and make sure we don't do anything silly. Xxx❤

I rescued a GSD with the same coloration and temperament, his first groom was 3 years overdue. He was far underweight and covered in fleas. But he took all three shampoos with nary a whimper.

Oh my gosh!!! She and my gsd could be twins! I just wish mine was as calm as this one. Although I can say mine loves her baths and believe it or not the dryer too. She will also stand and let me brush her with a groomers vaccum. I love the deshedding brush it comes with. Vanessa great job you have done! I love your videos and your podcast is great! My GSD is the same way in the bath. She doesn't like it but still wants to be the goodest girl. Not so afraid of the blow dryer though. I can never get her fur conditioned enough. Frequent brushing is what makes it soft. BTW What's your nail polish color?

We had a German shepherd girl named Molly years ago she was a sweet dog, very loyal, loved belly rubs, unfortunately her back legs got bad in her old age we had to put her down as walking began difficulty for her. I miss her still. Great video

I think I may be a little sensitive today with my Mom in the hospital but hearing her cry like that broke my heart. I know she's just being a cry baby and not being hurt or anything but it made me sad.

She is indeed incredibly intelligent. You can almost see it in her expressive eyes, how she processes each new experience, and she doesn't necessarily like any of it but the moment she realizes it's not going to hurt her, she decides to put up with it with a tiny bit of customary protest. Lovely, gorgeous pup.
