Verse 1
We made a fire, on the hill to the sea
Summer's warmth, now a memory
I climb through winter's chill and gray
To find the spot, where we used to play
Chorus
But now it's just a circle of ash
Stick-ends charred, where our laughter crashed
Two have wandered off, into the city's roar
And one's gone silent, forevermore
verse 2
I'm left here alone, on this grassy rise
The sea breathes brine, from its endless skies
Just like last year, but now you're gone
And I'm left to wonder, where did we go wrong?
