For the microphone part I would have liked a comparison between just pluging it directly into the PC and then through the Hel. Otherwise great and informative as always

I've been using the Hel's little brother (Schiit Fulla) + a pair of iLoud Micro Monitors for my iPad Pro and MacBook Air audio for a couple years. Great portable audio solution! Excellent review, mate!!

I've had the original HEL 2 for about 18 months now. I use it with my PS5, Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pros and a ModMic USB (plugged directly into the PS5) and for me, it's a perfect audio setup for a PS5. Maybe a tad overkill but I know what I like and it's 100% this. Love Schiit products.

I have had the older Hel, and am using the Hel 2E. Both work great on Linux into Grado headphones. You need watch the volume because the Hel can overpower Grados.

Im interested in the Arya as I do currently own DT1990s, I love foward, detailed sound, not that much laid back, as it sounds muffeled to me - how do both compare? I do also gaming, so I prefer an open sound

Maybe I was just unlucky but both my first Hel 2e and its replacement died on me and had to be sent back. Both started to randomly turn off while using it and then wouldn't turn on after 6 months of use. I hope they have fixed whatever was causing this.

Question for you. Looking to connect a Deity D4 Mini to the Hel 2, the cable from the mic to the Hel 2 is it TRS to TRS or is it TRS to TRRS. Asking this as I want to buy a longer cable for better cable management with my computer.
