The film called fear that came out in 1996 is about when a 16 year old Nicole walker meets 23 year old David McCall at a Seattle nightclub, she falls in love. David McCall is exciting and charming, and despite the wide age gap, he wins over Nicole’s family except for her workaholic father, Steven, who’s suspicious of David from the start. His concerns are realized when David turns out to be a violent sociopath who sees Nicole as his possession and her family home a fortress to be invaded.
How could Steve fall for the clock trick?! He's wearing a watch AND there's a clock on ye Olde desktop computer w fat monitor?! I csi'd Grissom himself! 🤣😅😆
Well… perhaps Steve prefer to check the time by swinging his chair around/turning his head…rather than taking the easy route of the monitor! 😂 I can’t BELIEVE I didn’t notice that and include it.
@@JayHarangue Yeah I don't anything could have saved that train wreck of a film lol. I do wish he would do more roles like this, he plays nuts really well lmao.
Yeah, Jay's editing is great in these videos. Jay, how do you decide to use different reaction clips and when? It's like you have an encyclopedic knowledge of reaction shots from B movies.
I have a folder where I collect clips from all the films I watch. Deciding which ones to use where to put them is the most enjoyable part of the whole process for me.
@@JayHarangue Yes, i'd say the dad bod is perfectly fine. I'm a dad battling my own dad bod. I think it's the general presentation and aura that is the most off-putting. But then again, the character Alyssa plays is pretty messed up. We never get any back story on her. She's just the generic promiscuous bad girl best friend.
I'd love to know how Alyssa Milano feels about this film nowdays. She was such a big proponent of "Me Too" (until Tara Reade) and she's really objectified in this. I have a funny feeling she's never been very well liked in the industry and that's they had her hook up with a greasy homeless man and degraded her the way they did.
@@JayHarangue that’s I was siding with right away. Fassbender portrays such a gullible soppy moron. Everything he does is wrong, and even gets bullied by the fat waitress in the diner for being a grass
I swear watching seeing movies like me. Made me stay in my room learn DOS, watch animated shows, watch sitcoms and read a ton of books instead of tryna date. Didn't jade me from finding partners. I did make sure friends and family alwyas knew about my relationships
Also, I read on Wikpedia earlier, that this is being remade for Peacock with Rue from The Hunger Games in the lead. The cycle of mediocrity never ends. Hurrah!
I find her criticism and judgmental attitude about the masturbation scene now after 30 years is pretty hypocritical of this actress. The scene caused the movie to have an Academy declaration and the actress was praised for the scene 30 years ago but now she wants to just cause attention back to herself like Oh my God I was so traumatized by this scene and I didn't want to do it it's just stupid. I bet you at the time she had no problem with it it's only now because of the whole WWE generation and the cancel culture that she wants to all of a sudden speak out against it. I find her actions now hypocritical and sub par.
Yeah, it’s almost as if these people who make a living pretending to be people they’re not live their whole lives pretending to be people they’re not. 🤣
I was in highschool when movie came out and lemme tell ya...EVERY GIRL WANTED TO REANACT THE FINGERING SCENE!!! YOWSER!!! ...I be right BACK! TEE-HEE 😎👉👌
TOO THIS DAY I ALWAYS WONDER WHY GARY THEIR FRIEND COULDNT GET TOGETHER WITH NICOLE. I MEAN HE PAID FOR BOTH GIRLS MEALS!!!! COMEON!!!!!!!!!!😂😂😂❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
@@JayHarangue in Spider-Man 3, there is a particular scene that very well could be called a plagiarism from this movie. It is a scene in which “dark” Peter Parker is winning a fight and he violently pushes away Mary Jane.
I hated Nicole. I always wondered if there was ever a deleted scene of her at least apologizing to Margo for not believing her. Or of Gary's mom screaming at her, blaming her for his death.
Fun fact in the original script the dad graped wahlbergs mom and is actually his dad, and he’s purposely banging his daughter to get revenge. Kinda glad they dropped that aspect
Well it would have been twisted but if they added that to the script then David's behavior would have made more sense and also cause the dad was being a total creep with margo so it would have fitted his character right. The plot meaning would have changed, but it would have shown how both men have used/abused someone and are the same at the end.
