Respect from China. To Chinese people, the USSR was the big brother, the best teacher and the most fearsome enemy. The feelings were quite complicated. When the two countries' soldiers were fighting each other at the front line, China and Soviet Union still shared the same ultimate goal. Though in different languages, people sang l'internationale and fought for the truth. The USSR collapsed, but it's music will live forever.
pT Silentghost This is the funniest joke I've ever heard. Please man, are you totally blind? Just look at the political correctness and patriotism in your western daily life. We don't hang national flags everywhere, we don't wear clothes with national flags printed on in daily life, we don't need to place the right hand on the heart when we sing the national anthem, and we would not be blamed if we do not sing it properly. This kind of ceremonial gesture and procedure are actually the backbone of Natzi like emotions, it creates a ceremonial atmosphere and makes people feel the power of collectivism. Also, look at the army size of all countries in past 50 years, look what each country have done in the past 5 decades. Who is the guy bullying the rest? Don't you have the clue?
胡宸曦 the fuck you talking about all I said was China is fascist so just go ahead and Google what that actually is before you show how stupid you really are. You know a country is fascist when they outlaw a form of meditation and restrict Buddhist monks in Tibet from reincarnating. Hey I may be blind but i can see better than you. Also what the fuck are Nazi like emotions?
pT Silentghost Wow, look how brilliant you are. You western people always think you are all Captain America. I don't need to Google the history of my own country. Tibet has been a province of China since Tang Dynasty. Also the English word Tibet is the transliteration of Chinese word 吐蕃. We are the first to call them 吐蕃. At 634 Ad, the Princess of Tang married the King of 吐蕃. The two nations united as one shortly after the marriage. 吐蕃 have been under full administration of China since the marriage. China have the territorial sovereignty over 吐蕃 since then too. From our view, Dalai and the monks following him are the traitors. Their ancestors and teachers have followed the leadership of every Dynasty and government of China. They betrayed their religion, betrayed their ancestors and betrayed their motherland.
pT Silentghost Just imagine the following situation. What if the Governor of the State of Alaska was removed from office due to some corruption problems. Then he felt treated unfairly. He crossed the boarders to Russia and tried to escape legal punishment. He then travels all around the world and spreads his words wherever he goes. He says that Alaska should form its own country and be independent. He also says that Alaska should no longer follow the leadership of the US government. And he lies that the people of Alaska are badly treated by US government. What will the American people feel? What reactions will US government take? I believe the Governor of the State of Alaska will never do such things. But unfortunately, those things are exactly what Dalai and his followers have done.
胡宸曦 look the only thing I'm saying is China is fascist not communist I don't care if what the C.C.P. is doing is right or wrong politically they are fascist.

i mean what other hope is there under putin? he is a capitilist and he has ruined our lives we are a poor nation and if this what capitilism brings why do we want it?
@NoahDaSlav Noah, I'm sorry this is not personally against you, but what you're saying is just Capitalist propaganda points. Unlike what Capitalist propaganda says, the Socialist system actually was the best thing that happened to Russia in the 20th century. We went from an agrarian semi-colony of Europe that had famines and epidemics every few years to an industrialized nation that hasn't had famines for more than 70 years now. And the biggest epidemics we had in the last 100 years were AIDS and Covid 19 which happened after we returned to Capitalism. We also had almost no drug abuse in the Soviet Union (except for alcohol) and also the crime levels were lower. You could literally let the door of your apartment open at night and you knew nobody will want to rob you because everyone had a job so they didn't need to resort to crime. You could also receive a free apartment if you had a job so a working person would never be homeless, and you could also receive free healthcare and a free higher education so even the poorest peasant could get a better life for his or her intellect and industriousness instead of his or her money.
A massive irony: Stalin was removed from all the songs in the USSR after his death by Khrushchev, but in capitalist Russia people put him back into those songs. That's basically Russians answering the question "Stalin or Khrushchev?"
Didn’t Stalin discriminated against homosexuals? So basically you are supporting a tyran regime which had no honor to give liberty and democracy to others

Now a new revolution is possible only after the start of the third world war. There is still the possibility of the self-destruction of capitalism through the technological revolution (feudalism was killed by the revolution of machine tools and the printing press of Guttenberg). But this is a very long and risky process.

Yes, they have before their eyes the experience of the collapse of the USSR and they can try to smooth over the contradictions. Stalin is a complete sack of human garbage, he destroyed the union on the inside, he improved industry and military, but he failed the people, communism is about the people.
Well said, the Proletariat don't have nationalities. “Man's dearest possession is life. It is given to him but once, and he must live it so as to feel no torturing regrets for wasted years, never know the burning shame of a mean and petty past; so live that, dying, he might say: all my life, all my strength were given to the finest cause in all the world──the fight for the Liberation of Mankind” ― Nikolai Ostrovsky
Love from British-occupied Ireland! The Soviet Union lives on in the hearts of the oppressed and all downtrodden workers! Long live the USSR, the Workers Republic!
Greetings from Austria comrade, crush the British Colonialist/Imperialist Regime and withhold NATO and their imperialist and corrupt leaders for the everlasting freedom of the green isle!
As someone from Plymouth; I apologise for what the imperial monarchy has done to your nation. May Ireland be United once again, may there be a United British, socialist Republic - or no United Britain at all.
I like how half of these songs are as nationalist as they are socialist. For many older Russians, socialism is not just an idea, but a part of their national identity.
For dictators to maintain their authority on a people, they'll eventually have to revert to the shared, one national indentity of the people in order to keep them loyal and dedicated. Theres a similar case of that in China. A national identity is an incorrect interpretation of communism, and so is authoritarianism.
@Comrade Emer at one point the soviet union itself became imperialist. Forcing Cyrillic on Mongolia is one example. The same type of imperialist China is, protecting North Korea for personal gains despite how messed up the North Korean regime is, and at the same time eliminating the Uyghurs for a greater national unity, again in reference to my first comment. After Lenin died Stalin banned things like freedom of speech and gay rights. If you wanted the better for communism and you criticised Stalin then that would be completely unacceptable and you'd be sent straight to Gulag, you'd also get sent to Gulag for owning a tricolored flag of any country within the Soviet Union. Imagine. you'd be sent to Gulag alongside Nazis and rapists for doing something as trivial as being gay or slightly criticising the godfather Stalin. This is no communist country. Stalin managed to beat Nazi Germany in Stalingrad, and it was because of how reckless he was when it came to authority. It's just wrong to continue like that afterwards. people are equal, and yet Stalin was like a Jesus figure. And because of him communism today received authoritarian and dictatorial influences. The standard of living really wasn't that high by the way. Many people escaped the Soviet Union because of how authoritarian it was. Even Stalin's own daughter immigrated from the soviet union to the U.S. And let's not forget Mao, how his own weak scepticism caused over 30 million people to starve to death, and how he contributed to a series of other disasters, known as the cultural revolution, sparking very senseless civil wars. at this point one can see that these countries are also just as imperialist and unjust, mainly because of authoritarianism. If the people are being hit by a stick, changing the country's name to the "people's country" will not make the stick any less painful.

This just proves that the USSR was imperialist aswell. The western states were also objectively much less undermined and oppressed, not that there was none at all, which I am not saying. Which countries had their protesting workers massacred by tanks?
@@dalfokane Although the USSR was imperialist, especially after Stalin's death when they did what you just said in Hungary, you are ignoring the entire scope of imperialism, imperialism is not just tanks, coups, and invasions (Which we can argue the West did more), it is also bribery, economic imperialism through austerity measures, debt traps, free trades deals, foreign domination by capital, unequal exchange etc. The West is arguably more imperialist in this matter. This is also to consider that the vast majority of communist nations had a higher rate of increase in the quality of human life than capitalist nations with more burdens and similar economic levels.
@@raaedsyed722 Capitalist nations, which ressources weren't being explicitely exploited by other capitalist countries, wealth did rise much faster, whilst the standart of living, even with the following wealth disparity, rose in the lower classes faster aswell. Capitalism is really good at creating means of production and exploiting ressources. Wether this is ethical/sustainable or not is something we both know. I understand the argument of capitalist imperialism, though I guess the soviets just didn't try to hide it.
