China invaded Viet Nam for a long long time, thousands year ago and they keep it up till today. Do you know what is happening between the 2 countries? Something seriously is happening on South-China-Sea (BIG NOTE HERE: South-China-Sea doesn't mean it's China's territory) And for the thing that China help us, we all know it and we respect it so much, as long as being grateful. China is the first country in the world treat Viet Nam as a dependent country. But, as I know, inspite of the fact that China helped Viet Nam in the war against American, when the war come to an end, China invaded us (The Sino-Vietnamese War). So why did China help us? Maybe (and this is a big MAYBE, and I don't think it's wrong) they don't want American to defeat Vietnam and made it a military fortress right below China. China has nothing to do with something named Friendship or Brotherhood. They help us for their own good (And it's ok because we can't expect other country to help us unconditionally, and I do respect the support from China), but when they see that they can take advantage of a godforsaken-Vietnam-after-war, they started a war. The fact that China always has tendency to invaded Viet Nam is just, undeniable.

Kính Phan You're more rational than some of your fellows, at least you know China did help your country fight US (and also French in 1950s). China invaded Vietnam in 1979 just because your damn government at that moment decided to kiss Russian ass hard and mess up with China (but former leader Hồ Chí Minh had a great relationship with Chinese). Also China didn't want to have an ambitious Soviet alliance in the south after braking up with Soviet Union. If they really wanted to annex Vietnam, they could had at least fully controlled northern part. Vietnamese propaganda says China suffered a lot and had to retreat. However, Chinese just wanna humidify Vietnam by winning several battles and causing you some economic losses, and then retreat. The Soviet was the biggest enemy of China at that time.

They even hold veterans day for the ARVN. I haven't studied the communist manifesto but I definetely have studied the Vietnam war. I don't need to know about the communist manifesto just to know wat communism is about. I hope that every communist country either falls or gets comverted into a democratic government. France attacked first in 1859 and Americans broke the treaty by claiming South Vietnam as theirs. I couldnt count how many times Chinese kingdoms attacked Vietnam.
