So if I have a ratcheting tie down strap, I could just tie it around once , and then ratchet it? Seems like the same result. Im hauling twelve 10 ft emt pipe. I have ratchet straps and a 6 ft bed. What about the front of the truck. Pipe wont move side to side in the front?
This is s trucker’s hitch. With a little practice, they’re very easy to tie/untie. And yes, they do secure your load very well.
