Kim Jo Han displayed considerable talent and then showed major respect for Brian McKnight throughout this duet. McKnight's talent is indisputable but Han's is clearly evident also and he deserves credit for taking on this song alongside the master. Any disrespectful or mean-spirited comments about him are unwarranted and unnecessary. Love this video!

I love this performance. i always find my way back to it. And honestly, if I was the one up on stage singing with Brian McKnight, I wouldn't even sing. I'd just watch and be amazed at the man that makes it look so easy and effortless to sing in the way that he does.
The way Brian smooths through his notes and carries it all the way through sends chills through me. He is certainly one of the all-time greatest singers. What happened to the days of Brian Mcknight, Boyz II Men, Shai, Jodeci, New Edition? Damn, that was when music was music. Bring back the 90's! Only people nowadays who can come an even remotely close, Mario, Usher, Neyo, but it's all too R&B meets hip hop/rap.
This is by far Mcknight's best rendition of the song live that I've hear on RU-vid. I can tell this was also when he was younger and able to hit those notes with ease. In the years after he would make adjustments to how he sang this song given how hard it truly is to sing certain parts at this level especially the last part.. That being said Brian McKnight is still phenomenal and holding it down after all these years.
I really haven't seen any evidence of him struggling to hit those notes in any recent performances of his, I really don't think his voice has decayed one bit in the last 20 years.
damn. Brian's voice is off the charts. Very few people you can honestly say were born to sing and he is one of them. His voice is a gift. The oriental dude indeed has a good voice...then brian starts and no one can compete. Would love to see him live.
I am Brian Mcknights biggest fan... hands down, no arguing or disputing about it. It would be the greatest gift in the world to actually meet Brian Mcknight face to face.. What a dream that would be!
I love this song!!!! Kim Jo Han is doing is holding his own next to Brian! Singing in a foreign language is hard and even harder when the composer/singer is the person you are singing with! Woot Woot! I wish I would've been there!
I agree that those 2 are very talented. Whether or not I like what they do completely depends on my own taste. Of course we are all entitled to our own taste, so so are you. I for one, love it when BM does these amazing things with his voice. His control is unbelievable! One thing. BM has been around for what, almost 20 years. That demands respect!
이 영상이 비교 논란이 되어서는 안되는 이유가 실제로 해당 예술 무대 녹화 때 사전에 김조한 씨와 브라이어 맥나이트 와 듀엣 무대를 준비하는 과정에서 무대 조율하고 서로 파트 세션을 미리 분담한 상태에서 리허설도 진행하고 본무대에 올라갔는데 본 무대에서 브라이언 맥나이트가 준비한 기존 무대와 다르게 본인 스타일대로 진행하였고 특히 후반부에는 본인 뜻대로만 애드립라인 및 반주를 진행한 무대였다는게 팩트입니다. 사실 김조한 씨 입장에서는 One Last Cry곡 자체가 외낙에 빅히트했던 명곡이고 또 원곡자와 듀엣을 하는 무대이기때문에 존중하고 애초에 화음넣어주고 조화적인 부분을 좀 더 신경쓰는 원곡자를 빛나게하는 무대로 준비하였기에 비교 자체를 하기에는 무리가 있는것 같습니다. 화질이 좋지않아 잘 안보일 수 있지만, 실제로 영상을 자세히 보시면 김조한씨가 살짝 당황한 모습들이 보이며 마지막에 허탈하게 웃는 부분은 많은 것이 내포되어 있습니다. 오히려 끝까지 이런 부분이 무대에 크게 드려나지 않게 끝까지 무대를 꾸미고 상대방을 끝까지 존중한 김조한씨의 실력과 무대매너에 칭찬을 해아하고 알려진대로 김조한씨의 인성이 드려나는 무대라고봅니다. 실제로 당시 프로그램 진행자였던 김광민씨와 이현우씨가 해당 프로그램 이 후 무례한 행동이였다는 늬앙스로 이야기를 한것으로 기억하고 있습니다.

Brian McKnight's voice is clearly richer in color and texture. When Brian goes from chest to head voice, the connection is still well rooted in his voice. Alot of "UMPF" to his voice no matter where on the scale he sings. LOVED IT!! How about towards the end when they were harmonizing the long note and McKnight still held on....showing he had not just a great voice but good breath control. It's clear why Brian is not just famous here but world-over. YOU GO BRIAN!!!
i respect that however... he kinda did get owned... not because its brian's song... but heres the thing people need to realize... Brian McKnight is a singing freak... his falsetto (head voice) is much stronger than 80 - 90% of the famous singers' normal, needless to say... Brian just knows how to use the sh*t outta his diaphragm to produce a sound thats 1000x than most singers out there But i ma give credit when credit is due... Kim was dope... but unlucky that brian is just a freak of nature
there are many singers out there but just a few which make music and singing kind of Art with their passion and whole Soul ........... brian is one of a few out there !!!
