So that's how they go tout of Eterna...I remember those days of OLTL. It was cool how they'd have new music for the major storylines like Eterna and Clint's time travel and they would have the different fonts for the titles. As wild as the stories were, those were some great times for OLTL. ABC should release the different storylines on DVD. Eterna, Time travel, the history of Niki/Viki/etc, all of them. I miss the 80s storylines...or maybe I just miss my youth.
The pathetic thing is that she only mattered to him slightly because she birthed his great-grandchildren. Besides that, he mostly treated her awful over the years. The same man wo would hire slime like Marco and Brad(sadly one of Tina's only friends circa '85). Asa was such a hypocritical POS.

I could enjoy him like in scenes playfully or not so ripping into Blair bc she did screw him over but he cheated on renee I believe to have a new " heir " but they really wrote asa to be pretty hateable in 98 when he was paying max ( who became such a slime bag from 94 til he was let go in 03 the character really did not need to be on once gabrielle & andrea Evan's left. The recast was awful & in 91 the show was so bad transitioning from the 80s to 90s plus the e.p. paul rauch was getting very bored by this time ) to seduce blair to frame todd for a ridiculous murder he did not commit esp since todd literally never met georgie Phillips she just handed him a doctored photo of her & bo bc he was a newspaper editor & that was their only interaction but the show by 98 was way out of outs second golden era & todd was carrying that show on his back. Their were all these people who could have killed georgie but oltl had a primetime special so they weirdly forced todd into that story for the hostage finale. Anyway asa & todd actually were almost cozy from 95 to 97 asa even testified on Todd's behalf at Todd's custody trial. Then the new regime decided asa just hates todd & todd who had pretty much made peace w/ nora & bo in 95 suddenly was this obsessed Buchanan hater when they were not even in eachothers way for years. I did like todd printing truths about bo George & drew that the buchanan run banner refused to. Then they had todd going way too far & obsessed & hired blair who they decided to make again a witch & snake & now hook her up yet again w/ max after max was horrible to her. Anyway it made no sense that blair started turning on todd who hired her at the sun for max who she did not know was using her. So my point is yes I am a todd fan bc at least he was the only person that was never forgiven for his sins while everyone else's were forgotten. Like clint finding out asa payed off cords grandma to take clints pregnant gf out of town & robbed clint of knowing his only son. Their was a classic scene of clint going nuts on asa & clint told him he never wanted to see asa ever again. I saw this in retrospect on yt bc I was not watching yet but clint & asa were made up & I just wonder how that happened so fast. asa literally said when bo falsely said in court he was guilty to protect drew who he thought was gonna confess , " so what if bo killed georgie she was a sleazy littlr tramp that got what she deserved " like really ?? asa was written horribly & the buchnans w/ the new kevin who acted like ge was dirty harry but was laughably stupid & short w/ big ears but we kept getting toold what a ladies men kevin was when the character never was that The new drew recast was a corrupt dumb goober cop tampering w/ evidence lettinh kevin jab todd w/ a pin in the arm when drew was supposed to be guarding todds hospital room i just hated the buchanans in 98 so much Also asa was so mean about viki , i get she dumped ur son but i couod not believe when asa threw in her & todds faces at the lodge " u dont come from stock that will die to protect their own ,u come from stock that eat their young you both do !!" & viki was so disgusted ( bc he was thriwing in her face for no reason her childhood molestation by her father in her face which is abhorrent & he was todds dad who dumped him off so she said to asa " How dare you say that!!" anyway back to asa he really was the type that under the right circumstances couod kill someome & they alluded on the show to his bigotry towards the mexicans & thats why he got cords pregnant mexican mom outta dodge & blair todd & others talking about how asa would squueze poor neighborhoods or make shady deals asa was always viscious about tina as was clint & even viki she was the only lord child who was left nothing viki hated her when she found out that she was dear dads love child & never gave her money which she should have
I loved Tina and Gabrielle together. If there was trouble around that time you could count on either one - or both - of them being wrapped up in it - LOL!

T James and when Gabrielle returned from 2001-2004 Andrea was Rebecca Hotchkiss on Passions lol I am still mad they killed Gabrielle. The writers could just had her leave Llanview after Al’s death. They didn’t have to kill her at all and the way they did it was insulting to Gabby fans.
Eterna was one of OLTL's greatest storylines! btw that gold statue reminds me of Angel Square Also I love the music soundtrack and credit font they created for the storyline I heard the storyline was written by producers during a writer's strike? In any case they did a damn good job!
Do you have the scenes where Michael follows Tina and Gabrielle up to the snowy mountain? Tina and Gabby fell through a hole and Tina says, "I've taken worse falls than this!" It used to be on youtube, but it isn't now
The whole show was pure corn but I loved it. It tested it's audience. Think about it.....Victor was a nut, Viki had several personalities, Dorian was....well Dorian, Tina had a stalker who hid in a secret room behind a bookcase. Total entertainment. Wish I would have kept watching but life happened.
I loved that show and you are right, it was corny. Loved the Tins was getting stalked by Ursula. The bookcase room....just gripped you. I ended up getting this huge hardback book from amazon detailing the show.
