R&D back then was always killing citizens, they would cover it up, when was the last time you heard of a ww2 explosive factory blowing up by accident, they were always blowing up but yet covered it up so the women would continue to attend work in the other factories, R&D was always covering up in the black&white days

As invenções antigas são bem interessantes, criativas por outro lado são também perigosas. Se o piloto perdesse o controle, perderia a vida. Naquela época a coragem era mais exaltada do que a prudência.
+Raptor306090 Not really, if pay close enough attention the pilot is actually secured to the areocycle via a steel cord attached to a belt the pilot is wearing on his abdomen. The real danger came from the blades, which had the bad tendency to hit each other and explode (most likely due to the location of the fuel tank below them).
the rotor on the bottom enables weight shift control which conventional minihelicopters cant do but the whole idea of several quillotine blades underneath you waiting for you to slip shows why it didnt catch on
people for fucks sake cant even drive cars, and we want them flying his? well it will be hella expensive to clean off the meat mess off the streets if ya ask me :)
Hilarious. Some people in the comments are wondering why there isn't a protective floor under him. Well guys, it wouldn't work if there was a floor there, because the blades have to pull air from above to push it below to create lift, if there is a big barrier above the blades then it would impede them the air above them that they need to push down.
It sounds like the narrator was going to start to troll at end when the guy lands in the water, like the guy is going to sink and disappear for the camra ending or that the narrator was trolling him about how the guys going get chopped lol.
Putting all the safety aspects to side He had the right idea..it was actually a helicopter upside down when you look at it , at least they had something to work on , then along came some one who put the engine above and added a tail rotor with pitch control rotor and the helicopter was born. Just remember we used the square wheel for a damn long time before swapping it for a round one 🤣🥲
