This is inspiring, and sooo needed in obeying the Lord's Great Commission. Always wanted to learn to share my faith. Church seldom if ever teaches this. I've heard plenty on giving, working in the church, inviting other people, supporting the ministry ,celebrating pastors & first lady's birthday/anniversary, church anniversary, choir and usher and Deacon and mother's anniversaries women/men's day, friends & family day... The old "you catch 'em, we'll clean 'em. "Then church usually gets around to celebrating Jesus 2 days of the entire year on Easter & Christmas. A sad state of affairs indeed. Blessings to you both for your boldness in spreading the gospel.

Thank you for sharing. Strategy is helpful, and tact is necessary, but trusting the Spirit for the timing and the method/words is of ultimate necessity. Also, it is very important to stay in prayer for God to open doors (prepare the soil) for the sharing of His gospel, and to be faithful when His Spirit moves us to act. Also, not trusting in the flesh, and not "fancifying" the gospel with clever tactics is important.
One minute witness. Permission, always ask before you have the conversation. Ask to share the greatest thing that's happened in your own life. Life before Christ, explain how sad life was before excepting Christ, words that relate to sinful nature and how Christ helped. For example I was, angry, confused. what happened since, example, I feel more at ease after finding Jesus died on cross for me, And then a summary of how life would be without christ in my life. Ask if they wanna know more of the gospel. ABC's admit, believe, confess. They say no you already shared.
Bit of a nag about the demonstration: the answer to the "greatest thing" question was "my wife and kids." But the follow-up included "You have any kids?" i.e., I wasn't really listening. "How many kids?" would've been better.

It sounds good most of the way. After Repent Acts 2:38 be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. Why do you guys get lazy and not go ahead and find a baptistry, swimming pool, anything with a foot or two of water in it and finish what the scriptures tell us to do?
