This was one morning on a dropping swell out at the wedge. Some immaculate conditions with my POV camera and this is edited RAW to give you the full effect of what it's like to ride...

There is a great spot for bodyboarding only an hour away from the wedge, it's called Salt Creek Beach. Waves are supposed to be pretty nice on the 4th of July (around 4 - 5 footers). I highly recommend you go! Love your vids!

Why does no one got a leash at the wedge ?

There are a few reasons… firstly, it’s a shorebreak and a leash would either break from the pressure, damage boards or damage you. Secondly, it’s so close to the beach that you can just climb out and grab it if you do loose it. And lastly, it’s easier to get away and under waves without a leash…
