This album is really good. A few riifs remind me of one of my favourite melodic prog metalcore bands The Afterimage. The rest has some great mix of darker tones and of course the 80s vibe (I loved Blessed by a Broken Heart since like 2006, who are back now!). Do I even hear some pitch shifted vocal samples in Drowned God? I have to say, with Paledusks Black Ice/Slay!!! and a few other bands like you guys, there's some really revolutionary stuff happening with the metalcore scene right now. Exciting :)

BRO! These guys SLAP! So good! A unqiue style that sorta sounds like a fusion between Slipknot, Dragon Force, Jamie Christopherson (MGS Rising) and perhaps a few others.

@@darkskyxMusic look into the german scene, style has been active. Even OML has notes of this style in their past albums.

@@sycofya1677 I can hear metalcore, melodic metalcore, synthcore, electrocore, deathcore, newwave, other metal genres... all mixed in one album. I don't think there are bands that do that. I did hear some german metalcore in the past, but I'll try to hear some now.

@@sycofya1677 Closest I can think of is Blessed by a Broken Heart ("Pedal to the Metal" and "Feel the Power" albums). They have 80s feel for a looooong time now, but it's not quite the same, though. Please don't say Eskimo Callboy, either, I always thought they were pretty bad tbh. Interestingly enough I managed to find all 3 of those bands before they had any 80s style at all. All 3 were very different back in the MySpace days.

It's fantasticly varied. Many riffs and catchy pieces mixed in with many different genres but holding a good theme of 80s synthwave/rock and roll throughout. Couldn't ask for anything more solid tbh. I like every song, which isn't usually the case for most albums. I like to think my opinion on metalcore is worth a grain of salt because I make it myself and have listened to tons of bands in this genre since 2005.
