@@deanhatescoffee these are a limited edition capsule collection, so we won't be producing these specific ones in bigger sizes, sorry Dean-we will consider this for future collections! Our custom-moldable insoles are available up to size 16, with wide options, if you are looking to upgrade the comfort of any existing shoes you have.
I use the TRTL, great pillow. Only travel pillow that I have found that is actually comfortable on a plane and really easy to use and pack. I use it with Galaxy Buds and find that it helps keep them in.
I wonder if the stems are what caused the issue for the AirPods for me? Totally agree on the comfort though, despite my concerns it’s the most comfortable travel pillow I’ve used
1:02 additional hack: two towels: 1. Small plam of hand and a bit size 2.full-size turkish or linen 1. For first wet wipe, small so can squeeze out most of water (like a sponge) & still dries reasonably quickly 2. For nice dry, it almost dry most of the time but make a great difference When I need to pack before 1. is fully dry, I wrap a small one into a big one 👌
Great content again. Thank you to remind me to replace my old leather belt with these Arcade ones. I started wearing jogger pants during my onebag trips and totally forgot about it. It's more practical and light weight. I got pairs of exofficio and love/hate them at the same time. They stared pilling just 1 or 2 washes and you can't do anything about that when on the road. Then I gave up and started enjoy wearing them.
Leather belts still have their place for me, but the comfort and convenience with these are so hard to beat. My exofficios have held up pretty well! I’ve got a bit of pilling but it’s relatively minor, the higher rise is just extremely comfortable for me on top of the quick dry material. Glad they’re mostly working well for you too!
NocFree 👀 What do you think of the "hack" of using a classic horseshoe style body pillow as a packing cube? Store jacket, socks or other soft clothes to free space in your bag, and having the pillow on in transit?
That’s a really clever idea! I’ve done something similar when backpacking - stuffing my puffy jacket into a UV Buff as a pillow, this would probably work just well if not better
Your infomercial have gotten so good! Really enjoy learning about new products to plan my future consumerism. The coffee gadget was particularly interesting!
I love that Bellroy Lite Sling. It's my perfect EDC since it can hold an e-reader or book, phone, wallet, battery, and still have room to spare. The way that it cinches itself down is great, too.
I prefer espresso, and I've moved from the Picopresso to the Outin for my travel over the past few trips. I added the Plus package to it, which has a 18g basket. I've dialed in the grind setting (on the same grinder you had on screen, actually!), and since then it has been the better solution for me. Great to see this review!
Good to hear and know! Almost went with a picopresso but the built in water heating in this was too good to pass up. Didn’t realize they had a basket upgrade until after the fact, I think I would have been much happier with it if I had known. The VSSL grinder came through so well for me though with the fine grind!
Thank you! I made some upgrades a while back and tried to learn a bit more about audio editing - it’s not quite where I’d like it ideally but have been happy with the sound. Using the mkh50 + zoom f6 recorder, running through some basic free plugins for audition. Don’t remember the full stack off the top of my head but it’s pretty basic eq and compression, made my own preset last year to streamline things.
Definitely going to be checking out those Sunglasses. My go to sling for quite a while now has been the Bellroy Venture 2.5L. Love the organization and it fits really well on the body, the profile is also slim enough that I can wear it under a light coat or full zip hoodie and you can't even tell that it's there.
Been loving the sunglasses! Such a fun and simple idea, brand seems really great too. I’ve got a 6L venture that’s great - the 2.5 would be a bit small for me but I can definitely appreciate the small/thin form factor, especially with layering. Appreciate the support on this one!
This was a very interesting list, and nice to see some new and interesting products that change the market a bit, but also your thoughts on alternatives. Keep em coming!
I've been using the Cooler Master SK621 low profile keyboard for travel for awhile now, but I will definitely be checking out that split keyboard, I've been wanting one for awhile anyway and if it can fit in my bag in a smaller size that would be great
It’s worth checking out! I used a low profile keychron a while back that was really nice, but this split form factor is so much easier to pack if you bring it often enough
When I got my TRTL pillow several years back, it was typically $30-40 and occasionally went on sale for $20. These days I leave it in my car so I can take naps without moving my kid's rear facing car seat.
Wish they were still that cheap! I’d feel way better about it compared to the $65 price point. Sounds like a great idea though, gotta get those naps in when you can!
Would you happen to have any recommendations for a garment steamer that is small enough for one-bag travel? I want to do my own laundry with my limited capsule wardrobe. Also, could you recommend any winter packable jacket/parka brand that can go below freezing -10C -> -20C? Thank you
No luck on a small enough steamer in my experience unfortunately. I’ve found a few but they’re still quite large for one bag stuff, but it’s been top of mind and I’ll definitely share if I come across anything worth mentioning. For the jacket/parka - I have a couple that might be worth checking into! Not a parka but I’m a huge fan of the outdoor vitals nova pro. It’s extremely light and Packable at the slight expense of aesthetics - should have no problem at -10c and could probably take it further with layering. Last winter I found some really nice (but expensive) lightweight parkas from UBR - the titan parka is extremely warm and light for what it is but would still be pretty large to pack
It’s a Vero forest service watch! Just got it recently, should be covering it in depth for a video soon. Here’s a link if you want to see in the meantime: ktku.co/1y
Might be a bit snug with the 16” but it’s possible from what I can tell. I don’t have one to confirm unfortunately, might be worth checking with Bellroy CS?
It’s been a while since I’ve checked around but I have a couple I really like from a few years ago! Get out gear on Amazon has a great down Packable blanket and gravel makes the layover blanket with footholes and a pocket which is really nice too. I can grab some links if you want but hope this helps!
G'day again from downunder Josh. I don't mind those shoes. They seem to be similar to Allbirds, but the stitching gives them a different look. The coffee machine looks like a powered version of the Nanopresso, but im also a aeropress go convert.
I’m not a huge fan of the allbird looks either, but definitely similar. So comfy if you don’t mind the look though! Aeropress is definitely a winner for me too, it was a lot of fun to testing this as an alternative, very similar to the nanopresso but with the water heating built in
Seems like a lot of ergo keyboards have a decent price jump compared to ‘regular’ form factors but it was definitely worth mentioning. I feel like $100 would sit a lot better with me but if it’s in the budget the quality has been great
@@joshfenntotally agree, my ipad pro has been my main device for 7 years and that initial investment really paid off. So I wouldn’t doubt on investing on a nice split keyboard, thanks to your recommendation I looked around and found several great options. Price is still off but that just means I need to save and stand guard when black friday comes
Luckily vision is okay enough to wear them without my prescription. Ombraz does have a 3rd party vendor for prescription lenses though if you wanted to go that route
Ombraz! As someone who bikes everywhere, if I wanted to get into mountain biking or gravel biking, I think Ombraz sunglasses are the most likely for me to not lose to the forest. Also, its neat to see a split mobile keyboard!
The glasses would be perfect for biking! I’ve been using them mostly for hiking and it’s been awesome. Good to have the option to easily remove during shaded/wooded areas too
