Yeah the more I've thought about it the more I think that Pilsner is a great way to kickstart a crit hero without taking something with a long term downside...

haha, so I am mostly joking about taking bully, I normally only take bully on my own heroes if I also have Crit master available, I just find it quite interesting that the -crit power of bully is seen as a deal breaker (even if you're using bully to get 100% crit you are only getting -60% crit power, and most of the time you're going to be at -30% or -45%) but the -crit power of Pilsner is almost never taken into consideration

@@abigailmcdowell4248 The -crit power of Pilsner goes away by just not drinking it. The -crit power of Bully is forever. So if I have a hero that might get to 100% crit naturally or through later gear, I take Pilsner then eventually drop it. If I take bully, it's there forever. I still take bully. It's fine for a hero esp. one that has additional stat needs above and beyond just +crit. But Pilsner makes Bully less good, because Pilsner does the same thing but it's not permanent.

@@TysonJensen so yes, if you have 100% crit from other sources then bully ends up as a pure negative, but that should never happen? If you have bully or plan to take bully you should just stop taking as much crit on level up? Or like if I had a bully medal I'm only going to give it to a hero with low crit and decent crit power. Again, I mostly take bully only with critical master which negates the drawback of bully

@@abigailmcdowell4248 in Poker we call it "playing to your outs" you don't know what you will be offered on level up. Do you really want to not take a blue crit because you took Bully? If I'm using pilsner and don't see a blue crit, no biggie. If I do, I can take it and maybe drop the beer. That's why I think Pilsner is better than bully. Because I don't control what I get on level up. Sure, if I DID control it, I'd take bully and then NOT take crit. But I don't know what I will be offered, and Pilsner is better at evening out the level-ups.
