You have an in game skin and you're the reason I bought this game when there was only one map and half as many guns! You're famous as far as hunt is concerned!
Hive Bombs are a double edged sword lmao. The amount of times I’ve thrown them at the enemy only for it to attack me or my team… I’ve been told to never run them again many times.
You might have add him, he's a man of honour, commited suicide, when he thought you had no necro. Me in his situation:" 😢 Damn he died". (While inspecting your pockets)😅😉
my thoughts on MMR for solo, remove most if not all weighting for solos in 4 star and below lobbies. you want a challenge? you have it. with self revive in those levels it's actually like fish a barrel pretty frequently. it's not a good experience to play against. I play with randoms and invite teams, and as solo, and I can say that if my experience is anything like typical it's not particularly fair. Or leave as is and add the full Necro experience, you get the button at 12 seconds like now, and then you get to lay there for the full necro windup with the noise originating from your body. solo play is harder, no deny, but having done it quite a bit now I can say that it's not deserving of the level of weight it gets. In my imagined system you're treated as "paired with random" for MMR adjustment. that would probably work out well enough.
RE: MMR .... Have seen many players with thousands of kills and high KD ratios playing at low MMR. Not sure there is a fix as gamers are going to game the system no matter what. I do think having an MMR system is better than not having one though.
The VoIP bug is due to his USB headset, I believe. It changes the audio device, as a workaround, one has to change it from and then to the desired device in game options to toggle it properly :/
It has nothing to do whether the headset is USB or not. It happens to me all the time and I don't have or use USB for any audio. However, that is the same method I use to fix it.
Yeah, it's just a Hunt Bug it happens to everyone. Hunt randomly changes your VOIP audio output device sometimes. It seems to happen at every patch that I have to reset it.
My main issue with the MMR system is the *massive* difference between the 3-4 star matches and the 4-5 star matches. My buddies and I are usually unhappy when we get bumped up in rating because it means the next few matches are going to be full of sweat
@@Bryan48950 bruh you're salty because i answered the question neenoh asked us to answer in the comments lmao you got serious small dick energy my friend
Players in 4-5 star are both better than average, and less numerous. Also less likely to be there consistently, due to carry. There is also some RNG involved in matchmaking. There is no gentle progression designed in, but I think they have to do it that way, as Hunt probably can't populate 20 tiers of mmr. Play against people better than you, and you'll get better.
24:55. what I think happened there is the the hit registered on the bees and not on Cain. The bees blocked the swing. You're supposed to be able to swing through them, but with that bonk sound Cain didn't make a take damage sound. So I don't think you damaged him. It's happened to me once before with a bat.
My high-mmr fellas are pretty glad they can die numerous times and have it count to lower their ranking because it's not that much fun playing in six star lobbies against spitzer sniper sweat lord trios and their non-objective, 1kill/hour kind of gameplay. One suggestions from there is extending the range and having more different ratings, like 8 or 9 stars
MMR does definitely need a rework for solos. I'm not sure if it was ever specifically tuned for solo play, but at least it seemed serviceable before solo necro since a solo could only die once per game. Fast forward to now and there are some people who are so degenerate that they will purposely res themselves while they know they're being watched specifically to drop MMR faster. I'm not sure simply only having the first death count towards MMR is enough, but I feel it would definitely be a quick and easy fix to get us closer to where it needs to be. At least until Crytek puts some time into figuring out something better. Soul survivor should never have affected MMR.
I don't mind the MMR system /much/. Still, the solo revive kills tanking MMR do be a problem - my gut feeling is leaning towards a grace period after a self-revive so that if you die within a certain time frame after self-reviving it doesn't count towards your rating 😮💨
The mmr is definitely making me and my friend stop playing hunt, or at least give it some time. We are NOT 5 stars, but as 4 stars we get matched to 5 and insta headshoted almost every match. Then we go down to 3, have one game where we do okay, then back to suffering again lmao. We have no intention of sweating and trying hard, but we can't escape 5 stars, even just playing normally. We don't mind losing games, but we do mind getting insta one shot from someone who sees us for half a second, consistently. Not fun.
@@siegfriedmordrake3229 I think the biggest difference between 3 and 4 is not players' skill, but loadouts. On 3 stars most of hunters play with free or cheap stuff, meanwhile starting at 4 stars people starting taking more expensive loadouts.
I can backup what you say - Im between 5 and 6 Star (5 most of the time) and when I play solo and get matched with 4 stars it is an easy walk in the park for me...imo the skill gap between 4 and 5 stars is huge - maybe the should add some more stars and make it more sensitive overall
exactly like you say. I think mmr goes way too fast. You have three good rounds, go straight from standard 1.4 kda with 2000 kills to a lobby with 20,000 kills and a kda of 2.3. I don't think it's a good thing that many good solos are in low mmr because of self revive. So agree with you. MMR is good, but it needs to be slower. Just because I killed a few once in two games doesn't mean I'm as good as having to play against 5+ stars straight away. I don't want to go up and down in the same evening. Then preferably within a week. A few lucky rounds don't make me that much better.
A friend and I have talked about the current MMR issue. He said the exact same thing you said. I agree but, maybe give it a timer if possible. If you lay there for 5 minutes, self rez, get killed againn maybe that would slcount against your MMR. But, it'd be much easier just to do it the way originally mentioned.
I don't play this game because my m&kb isn't up to par for it. For the mmr, I can agree it should only count on first death for solo hunters. Especially since solos can revive so many times.
0:27 I got that jumpscare with a bunch of grunts the other day...the game / server didn't have the map fully loaded yet and as I was gonna approach a clue - **bam** - four hatchet-wielding grunts spawning right in my face...🤣
After all the shlooting begins, even after you went down once, why not pickup the bounty? Is there an advantage im not thinking of that outweighs having the bounty? Or you just roll that way because... double bow legend of the bayou?
Hey Neenoh! Great video per usual! I was just wondering in game 1 if there was a reason for ur delayed bounty pickup? Just curious, no judgement or anything.
I think during that fight I was able to keep track of them with footsteps so I didn't need the sight that much. But yeah I probably should of taken it, I just go into auto-pilot mode sometimes xD
in both situation is not ok at all it give gigantic advantage to the both solo auto revive bosted solo perks and dark vision that unfair for the rest of the loby causing big confusion during fights@@Neenoh
@@fulgord4134 no, when you team up randomly it is fine, especially when solo. Or would you rather fight a 6 man team with necro? I would go as far to say it's good for the hunt community.
