May you continue to be a blessing to those parents and their kids. Most ppl don’t understand the struggle but you’re gifted with your talent for a reason. My son is special needs so I know how the mother feels. Blessings to you, Sir❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am a caregiver of a special needs sister and what people don’t understand is how exhausted we are . Staring and criticizing what you don’t understand is easy. Why not say hello or offer to support our world is tough 24 hours a day
🙏🏾 Anyone who has cared for another who cannot care for themselves truly understands. You are doing God's work in taking care of your sister. God bless you❤
God has definitely given you a gift!!!! I'm glad you share what you do. I am dyslexic and I'm a piano teacher. I have an autistic piano student. I had to find what he responds to and it took awhile, but now we are cruising learning rhythm by using hammer and nails, screwdriver and screws!!! Thank you for all you do
Poor baby, as a past teacher/ Principal (37 years) of children with special needs especially those on the autism spectrum, those with severe sensory issues are unable to tolerate what we usually can. What may seem simple to us can be devastating to them, the noise alone of that electric shaver probably sounded like a lawn mower close to his ears, don't talk about the sensations he must have felt, it could have been like passing a heavily vibrating coarse sand paper on his head. Maybe mummy has to talk with his pediatrician/ medical care providing team, to see if he can receive some mild form of sedation before his haircuts. Thank you Sir for your patience, you are a gem and one in a million to these special gifts from heaven. It's not easy, I know but if many of those who get impatient with them can spend one day in their shoes they will understand and appreciate their level of discomfort and need for empathy, to be comforted and the intervention that would reduce their sensory overloads. Continue to be a blessing to them. Much respect. 🫶🏾 Shalom.🙏🏾
I worked with special needs as a dental assistant...and wat always worked for me was 100% of the time was play and interaction before treatment was done
I work as a behavioral aide in a school district. I can’t even imagine trying to cut hair for these amazing kids! Bro you are doing the work! Thank you for sharing
You are God sent! On so many levels. As the parent of a son with ADHD, this is my story. It brings back memories. 🙏🏾 My son has gotten better with sitting still during haircuts. It’s still a challenge, though. It takes special people to do this type of work with children. Gentle and patient people. Glad that mom allowed you to share her journey. Appreciate you. ❤️
God has really blessed you with this gift !!! May HE continue to use you for HIS glory to help those parents who need help with their children for free . 🤗😇🙏✝️
I hope you practice both seated and qi gong meditation (meditation by stretching the body, plenty of videos here on RU-vid). You're amazing working with these families.
As I watch this video, several things came to mind. Firstly, public servants (police, teachers etc). There's so much to be learned and thought about human with disabilities. When publiic servants interact with people like this, their first encounter is to apply force and brutality. IDK, I was just thinking.
