9:10 yes we have to wear school uniforms in primary school(1-4 standards) and secondary school (5-10 standards) and also higher secondary (11-12 standards). After this school education finishes and we get chance to get admission in college where it is usually no uniform, but a dress code is there. But in some college or university there are uniforms.
Schools definitely have uniforms. Some Colleges and Universities have uniforms some don't. My graduation University had uniform and post graduation University didn't have uniform.
Alka Yagnik is the indisputable melody queen of the 90s& 00s bollywood era. Her songs rule the roost to this day. No wonder she is ruling the streaming charts even in 2024.
Ephra you should trust your instinct. That is the late great Amrish Puri sahib, The dad from DDLJ. He was known for playing amazing villains. He is the villain in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
“Roshni se” song from Asoka sung by Alka Yagnik and Abhijeet is such a masterpiece you wouldn’t wanna miss out on. It honestly gives me chills everytime I listen to it.
Alka Yagnik has featured on the Guiness Book of World Records for a third year in a row. She was the most streamed singer of 2022, beating even the world's biggest singers like Taylor Swift, Drake and Beyonce. As per a report on the Guiness Book of World Records, Alka's songs recorded 15.3 billion streams, an average of 42 million streams per day. And she achieved this feat in the last two years as well. She had 17 billion streams in 2021 and 16.6 billion in 2020. Second to her on the list is Bad Bunny with 14.7 billion streams. The rest three on the list are all Indian singers: Udit Narayan (10.8 billion), Arijit Singh (10.7 billion) and Kumar Sanu (9.09 billion).
Alka Ji , We are Fortunate To Listen To You.. You Have Been Phenomenal.. You are Pure Gold 🧡... Each of those songs are my favourites... Alka Ji was everywhere then..
07:54 Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu themselves... And yes at 1:21 That is the actor Amrish Puri who plays the father of Kajol in DDLJ. I like your reactions to Bollywood goodies. Much love from Romania!
Yes West Bengal is home of most popular singers ( kishore kumar, hemnata, shaan, kumar sanu, alka yagnik, shreya, arijit, abhijeet, babul suprio...) of India. And you can call it land of music.❤❤
❤she is an angel❤ sweetest voice of India.... Only after Lata ❤❤❤see the variety i mean every indian form ❤❤.... Over 20000+ songs she sung.... Thats what makes her alka Yagnik❤❤❤ her legacy is next level may be the most underrated singer❤❤❤ i have so much to say about her....she is awesome. ❤❤❤ she sung as many as super hit than todays singer sing in whole carrer❤❤
I would absolutely love you guys reacting to either 'Rockstar' or 'Veer-Zaara'. They have some best music in modern times. And I'm sure you guys will also love K3G (Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum) as you have loved DDLJ. Shreya Goshal, Arijit Singh, RD Burman, Kishor Kumar, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Pritam, Manna Dey, SD Burman and many more popular singers are from Bengal. Truly a land of contemporary music. RD Burman's music is a strong recommendation. He is from 70's but his music is considered one of the most modern and complicated in Indian cinema history. Love from Bengal, India
3:45 She is Bipasha Basu , used to be one of the hottest women in Bollywood now she don't do anything after her marriage. 8:59 that's Rani Mukherjee, 17:11 that's Susmita Sen former Miss Universe they all are Bengali peoples.
Let me make it easier for you. Alka Yagnik has 3 unique voices. I will break down her career into 3 parts. Lets just focus between the year 1990 upto the year 2005. 1990 - 1995: Alka is younger and so she sings higher in pitch and usually softer in tone. 1995 - 2000: Alkas voice starts maturing and sounds richer and more neutral tone 2000 - 2005: Alkas voice is matured and more powerful. sounds deeper too. Heres a timestamp example 1991 & 1992 - 7:54, 12:24 (Younger and higher pitch) 1995 & 1997 - 17:23, 17:07 (Voice is maturing, neutral pitch) 2002 & 2003 - 1:33, 6:45 (Matured and powerful) You have to also bare in mind the older songs were analogue in sound and songs from video playback isnt the ideal source as they speed up the songs by 1.5 and also the pitch gets shifted higher. The CDs and Cassettes of the same songs sounds way different
15:16 this movie and this song in late 80s became the trendsetter for all the love movies n romantic songs of 90s n later. You cannot imagine how iconic is this. ❤❤❤❤
Yes. Every high school in India has a uniform. College/ Universities sometimes have their uniforms as well (for professional courses like Management/ Journalism etc), but mostly you can wear whatever you want.
Oh she is queen of industry 90s to 2000s and yet also nlno The only and only alka yagnik ❤ We listen lots of songs when we travel We listen most of songs from 90s when we goes on long ride ❤
All time Bollywood best female singer for me. Yeah there are more respected and loved ones out there. But she’s undisputed. Nobody could have done Agar Tum Sath Ho the way she did, and imagine you have the likes of Arijit Singh as an background vocalist.
Alka Yagnik's voice is one of the easiest to recognise in my opinion. You completely listen to 10 of her songs and you will be able to easily recognise her voice after that. As a matter of fact, that stands true for most of the other singers. People say that many times it's difficult to distinguish between the voices of Lata and Asha Bhosle. But I have been able to do that 100% time.
Alka yagnik is my favourite singer after asha ji, lata ji, kavita ji and sunidhi ji..... whenever i listen to her, i feel every emotions in each musical notes.....what a singer..ab ke singers me wo feel aati hi nahi.Ppl will say arijit can bring emotions in his singing but to my mind it feels nothing infront of sonu nigam and alka ji 's singing skills.
*Alka Yagnik is the ultimate legatee of Lata Mangeshkar. She is phenomenal. Legendary. *The compilation doesn't have some of her best songs. It didn't have songs from Chalte Chalte, Umrao Jaan (the one with Aishwarya, one of the most underrated albums), Border, Phir Bhi Dil hai Hindustani, KANK.. these are some of her most popular albums. *She is ranked No.1 on the RU-vid's Music Charts & Insights list of top global artists as of January 2023. *Also holds the Guinness book record for the most streamed artist in the world on RU-vid.
Check out her songs from the SRK movie Swades. Has some of her best and most underrated songs. My favourite ones are 'Dekho na', 'Aahista aahista' and 'Sawariya'
10:50 min actually you are right , in movie "koi mil gya"(Hrittik and preity zinta) were friends and after they were in a relationship . Must watch movie , you will see new type of Hrittik roshan and will understand his acting range, how versatile he is . And all songs , landscape (in India all) are bangers ❤❤
I think it missed "Salaam" from the movie "Umraao Jaan", I think it's her best song technically, featuring Aishwarya Rai doing "Mujra" a type of classical dance. I would recommend this song to Efra (Aishwarya looks jaw-droppingly gorgeous in her traditional attire).
Alka is indeed undisputed when it comes to 90's and early 2000's .. Top 100 songs cant do justice as she was the female voice of almost every other song .. Here sl many aongs were not included because thrn the list would have gone longer.. Be it kumar sanu, udit narayan, sonu nigam, abhijeet, shaan etc,the female voice opposite them would be alka yagnik most of the time.. The girl you find very hot and stunning was bipasha bashu.. The original "Raaz" girl.. Emraan hashmi just took over..
Hey check out "idhar chala main udhar chala" from koi mil gaya ...that hritik song no63... "maim tujh se aise miloon"...."Dilvar dilvar".. And "Humko sirf tumse pyar hai "
Alka might sound quintessential in the beginning but I assure you, she has her own unique style and personality to add to her songs that makes her recognizable the minute you listen to her. You guys just need a little bit more exposure to her songs because her voice is different and unique to others. The only one I would say is closest to Alka is a lesser known but as beautiful sounding Hema Sardesai. I would recommend taking the time to review the Gupt Album from the nineties a whole lot of nineties legends including Alka, Hema, Kavita, Udit and Kumar have all lent their voices to that masterpiece of an Album.
if you want to hear a live performance PLEASE listen to her singing "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" live. You will know the right video, if you just search alka yagnik kabhi alvida naa kehna live, its the first result with > 1.8 Million views. She sang it at the "Powai Bengali Welfare Association"
Because Bengal was hub of arts during colonial period. Very few provinces has such opportunities at that time and Bengal was one of them. so foundations over there are strong.
Watch "Laila Majnu" 2018. It's amazing in every aspect Acting, storyline, scriptwriting and it has the best music score like Aashiqi 2. It's in RU-vid too.
