Hi Everyone! In today's video I'm going to be reviewing, demoing and giving you a full review of what I think is one of the best foundations I've ever tried- the makeup forever reboot foundation! I love that YOU love this foundation because the Koh Gen Do is painfully expensive and our favorite Soap & Glory bit the dust. Yay for Reboot!

I really liked this foundation when I tried it, but the fragrance was overwhelming for me. I'm sensitive to fragrance, so I thought this comment night be helpful to others who are too!

I’m not normally sensitive to fragrances and I had use this foundation for a while before quarantine. I honestly did not notice the fragrance back when we didn’t have to put on a mask but I decided to wear the foundation under my mask once and the scent would not go away under the mask to the point where I was getting a headache from it.

Maybe you can try and mix it with a mixing pigment to lighten the tone (I have to do it with 98% of my foundations). I like NYX pro mixer in white, and LA girl mixing pigment in white. They do not modify the foundation formula at all, and allow you to modulate the whiteness of it :)

The emerald green? Yum. I've been wanting to try this foundation as well but I'm trying not to buy new base products rn. I hear such mixed reviews on it though. It does look lovely on you.. And I love the subtle smokey wing on you!!

I’ve always wanted to try this foundation. I’ve heard really great things about this for dry skin. Right now I’m really like the no7 triple serum foundation!! Probably the best I’ve found so far

I tried the MUFE right when the Reboot released. The finish is a really nice healthy, natural finish. Only thing is that it did emphasize my dry patches 😢 totally agree with your experience on how it catches texture but in a way that isn't that noticeable. My HG for flaky/dry skin remains the Dior Airflash (just gotta bite the bullet with the $$) 🙌

I have been wanting to try the Dior Airflash, but when I realized it alcohol denat. in it, I quickly crossed it off my list.

@@stampwithmarcee I totally get it, alcohol is usually on my no go list as well but for me since its more than 1/4 down the list and didn't dry out my skin I caved 🙈 On my second bottle and can't seem to find anything better, I was using the IT Cosmetics CC cream before that but the fragrance and sensitizing lemon made me want to replace it

I think you would absolutely love the Estée Lauder Re Nutriv liquid foundation. The price is ridiculous but it is so, so gorgeous and nobody talks about it.

As soon as I saw the caption of this video, I knew it had to be MUFE Reboot!! I have been loving it, more than Shiseido Synchro or the new Chanel foundation. For the price difference, I even choose over the Koh Gen Do. My favorite way to apply it has been with a lighter moisturizer, then spritzing my face with the Colourpop Pretty Fresh setting mist, before applying Reboot with a sponge. Love the easy application and better than skin skinlike appearance!!

You are costing me money :) I just bought the Shiseido. MUFE sounds a lot like Mac Face and Body which has been my go to for two years. I have serious brow envy for you and your hair is gorgeous. You look like an off duty ballerina!

You had me sold up until you mentioned the lasting time, I prefer a foundation that will last me from at least last me the whole day. However it looks absolutely stunning on your skin, and with the future dew “?” as you primer it does look 👌🏻💋 (chef’s kiss). So glad you like this. Its my favorite foundation. Works so well with future dew & with glossier concealer too. 😘 i use is strategically in certain spots of my face and sometimes I use it all over my face this is a fantastic foundation.

My favorite foundations are the GA Luminous Silk, Shiseido Synchro and it was the old MUFE Ultra Foundation (not the HD version!...the one before) So now I am convinced I am gonna try the Reboot as well 🙋🏻‍♀️ I always wanted to try the Koh gen Do one but in Germany it is quite difficult to get it and expensive as well 😉

I just bought the MUFE HD and love it when applied with a brush, but now I’m going to order the Reboot as well because foundation is my favorite makeup item. Thanks for the great review and tips on how to get the best application. I haven’t seen anyone else review this and was happy it popped into my feed. Do you have a particular lightweight moisturizer and glowy serum primer you like to use underneath?

This looks so much like the Colourpop Pretty fresh hydrating foundation (NOT the tinted moisturizer) on your skin. That is my absolute favorite foundation. Would you say that they are similar if you have tried that one as well?

To save any other olive person out there; Y244 is a no go ❌ it says olive but it’s not, so don’t waist your money if you’re not ready to use a green mixer every day. Besides that (and the STRONG fragrance) the formula is beautiful!! 🙌

My favorite summer foundation is koh gen do aqua. Favorite winter foundation Chanel Sublimage Le Teint which is stupid expensive, but so far in the Minnesota winter dry air, no other foundation even comes close to how it handles dry patches. And the foundation actually looks better as the day goes on.

This foundation is my top 1!:) the next 2 are Clinique even better and koh gen do!:) for bb cream you have to try new missha perfect cover rx! They have reformulated it and it’s so long lasting ,dewy,no fuss and none of any bb or cc cream can top it!:) I purchased on amazon shipped from Korea.i know missha US will launch the rx version but idk when.u will love it too!!:) xoxo

@@johannesrlie2338 yes It is! And it melts into your skin,the original missha bb cream somewhat we can call it” old school” formula and finishing,the old one is way too gray and too thick and not as melt in your skin as this reformulated one.none of the bb/cc cream in market like it,it’s perfect!

@@stampwithmarcee see if I can help you? The old one I can wear 13 the lightest,color wise it pulls too pink and has gray tone,old 21 is too deep and too gray pink for my skin tone.the new one I wear 17 .

This is such a pretty foundation on the people I've seen review it. I tried it and funny enough, it enhanced all the flaky, dry parts of my face and looked incredibly dry. Might be good for dry skin but definitely didn't work on my dehydrated skin.

So I have super dry skin with some patches of texture, but I also have A LOT of redness on my cheeks. I can NOT find a foundation I love. I’ve tried this & the Fenty Pro Filtr Hydrating foundation lately. Everything just cracks and cakes and looks terrible. 😭 any suggestions? For either foundation and/or skincare

@@AmandaZ oh yes. I forgot I got a sample of the cc cream with my last Sephora order. It’s the same 😔. I feel like I need the formula of a light foundation but with my redness I need the coverage of a medium to heavy. I haven’t tried that primer. I’ve tried the Milk hydro grip primer and I’m currently using the Bobbi Brown face base.

Can anyone who finds shiseido synchro skin too dry comment on whether this is better or worse for dry skin than that one? I'm so unlucky lol most "dry skin is ok" foundations still dry/crackle up on me :/ even w loads of moisturizer (have not had luck w primers)

Yes I find it too dry aswell. The only foundation I find that doesn’t make my skin feel tight or go crumbly is the PMG foundation and the Ilia Skin Tint. I love both

I like the foundation but honestly the perfume in it reminds me of my grandmother's old perfume from 30 years ago, not trying to be funny just honest, ....why do they have to add this much fragrance?...
