Damn, you were really lucky to snag a pair from SNKRS, especially after this cookgroup took almost all stock! Super clean pair for sure and up there with the best SB Dunks for 2023: Yuto Horigome, Born X Raised, Jarritos, Albino & Preto, Crenshaw and Orange Label Court Purple. Let's hope 2024 will be another strong year for SBs!
Crazy things is, I think these only dropped stateside at skateshops. No snkrs release because of "theft." Theyre definitely a clean pair of dunks. That turbo green colorway with those chrome hits is nasty work. The outsole will be pissy later but enjoy them for what they are and keep rockin. Congrats on the cop.
Great review of one of the very best sneaker releases of the year. I was lucky to get them about 4 weeks ago, paid a little more due to resell. I absolutely love this pair, the details, the design, the color, the swoosh. There were so many SB Dunk releases that were pretty awesome. I finally get my Jarritos about next week - so far I'm sure that those, the April and the Born x Raised are my three SB favorites of the year. I also love my YUTO, Albino & Preto and Crenshaw. It was an awesome year.
Super clean and I love them visually, a nice SB dunk just can't be beat. That said, between the all white sockliner and the icey outsole, not sure how well they'd hold up to wear and since I try to wear just about everything, they're a good release that I'm fine passing on. Feedback required!! . How is SB dunks sizing compared to regular dunks? I am 11.5 in regular dunks with an avg feet width. Do I need to size 0.5 up for SB dunks?
The April's are one of the best this year, yes. I was blessed enough to be able to pay resell for these, however they do not crack the top 3 for me in 2023.
Josh, can i get a lil advice. I have a huge sb dunk collection ever since, but now i’m 27 going 28 i can’t really help feeling awkward and cringy wearing sb dunks. It makes me feel i look like a skater boy especially which i feel disgusted with my own self. TYI
Any product is worth as much as it makes you feel. If SB dunks make you feel cringe then don’t wear them. You can even sell some of your collection. You gotta wear things that make you feel good
@@JoshDominic Yea it’s so hard right now for ppl or sneakerheads like me who really enjoyed the hobby and wear all sneakers that have been collected for over 15yrs now. I’m overwhelmed right now getting this feeling of disgusting wearing or even seeing sneakers especially j1, j4, dunks and sb’s. What i only wear right now is the remaining super beatup 990s and two pairs of waverunner which i’m also tired seeing on my feet.
