@Evy Alley it's so obvious that we are in an era where meritt is considered last. And also the grace that blanc showed Michelle the whole race. Only for Michelle to publicly snub her for being white...who tf cares she's a DON at this point. She's the best actress alive imo. But beyond that I recognize when a performance is better than hers....last year no performance was better for the women....simple.
No offense, but how did she not get the Oscar? Michelle's performance was political. This performance required SOOO much from Blanchett. She WAS Lydia Tar. She absolutely inhabited her.
You can believe it was political all you like, no one can convince you otherwise. Sure, a win for Cate would have been well deserved, but so was Michelle’s.
