She was already in our granny age in 90s... She was 60+..but she refused to stop.. She dominated 90s as well despite new singers were there... After 2000..she voluntarily stopped and retired her self... But composers directors were mad for her.. They made her sing on multiple films again on special request.... The range.. The vocals.. Her energy.. Was never go down.. The pitch was always intact 😍

Thank you for your reaction to this legendary singer, even though hindi isn't a language you understand, I love how you show enthusiasm and respect to these songs. My only criticism is that the clips are way too short, atleast a minute for each segment would have been great but that's how this compilation was put together. Lata did act for a very very small amount of time as a child actor in the 1940s. She absolutely hated acting though. Luckily for her, it was around this time that the film industry decided to split acting and singing, and hire professional singers to do the voice overs for actors in songs. So when Lata got the chance to just sing for the actresses, she never looked back And she became even more famous than any of the actresses she sang for. Shes possibly the most important and influential person in the entire development of indian cinema, thats how big her contribution of just her voice was to movies.

This is the first time I ever saw your channel. Anyway one question to ask yourself sir is how many years prior was she singing before your birth maybe 4-5 decades 😁. Also I would like to point out that there is not much change in her voice other than it maturing. I call her Maa Saraswati. She is from a group that I call the best ever made up of Rafi, Kishore, Asha(her sister) and Noor Jahan. Anyway thanks for the reaction.
